A Blue Collar Perspective On Stacking Gold
VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 18. 02. 2023
- Today I want to give you the perspective of owning gold from a blue collar worker. Its something I find extremely challenging. Owning gold at lower income levels is almost out of reach. It is something that seems only elites will be able to afford in the future. Its why I think there is no time like now to work harder and get it while you can.

Good advice. Nothing wrong with fractional gold. Sure, one ounce of gold costs less than ten 1/10 ounces of gold but Iâd rather have ten 1/10 ounces than zero ounces.
Well said!
you contradict yourself; you admit that what is wrong with fractional is that it costs more.
as for your preference; would you not rather have a portfolio of growth stocks which rises in value faster than gold?
think like a wealthy person instead of a blue collar worker
@@DrSchor your failure to understand basic English is not my problem. Run along now and go bother someone who actually gives a crap about what you say. Have a nice day.
I think your advice to just do it and feel it out is solid. Don't go overboard, just get a foot in the door; take a look in there; see if you like it. Alright, now I have to get that song out of my head. She works hard for the money! So hard for the money!
So you better treat her right!
đ
I too regret not getting into gold sooner. Being retired and living on a fixed income, I live comfortably within my means and am still able to pick up a little gold. Oh yea, being debt free is a BIG thing ALL should strive for before retirement
Skully I sure hope youâre enjoying retirement because youâve earned it. Keep pumping out them videos!
Solid advice.
Bottom line is of you're not debt free, you can't retire. You're working for interest.
Great advise as always. Iâm an industrial electrician, in oct 2021 your channel and 2is1 got me into stacking. I took some extra savings out to get in the door, then I quit smoking and buying convenience store junk on the way to work. Took that money every month and turned it into gold, everyday impulse purchases add up a lot faster than we realize. Anytime I came into extra overtime, an unexpected tax return or any extra money above my regular savings I put it into my precious metal fund. It was a slow start but now I have a decent stack. Of course I immediately want more but itâs a marathon not a race. Rise and grind, blue collar life.
Yesss man this really makes me smile bro!!!
Thank you brother, blue collar working on a shinny parachute.
So many people, like you, spent a little money every day. People do not realize, in the small every day purchases how much they actually spend. That's how I saved for vacation. would figure out what I would have spent in a day, then go home that night and transfer from one bank account into another sub account: AKAS the vacation account.
Iâm also a Blue collar stacker. I usually work 50+ hours a week. I started off stacking Silver. I thought owning Gold was out of reach. I saw some videos from Silver Heist and Spegtacular about stacking 1/10oz Gold coins. I modified it a bit to get a 1/10oz Gold coin or a 5 gram Gold bar; like every 2 to 3 months. Right now I just purchased my first 1/2oz Gold coin an AGE. Iâm focusing mainly on Gold right now. I want to stack as much Gold as I can. Iâm trying to stack 2oz of Gold in 2023. I think having goals is very important.
Goals are what keeps me grounded and motivated!
2ozs I think is reasonable and obtainable! Hell yea
I'm a blue collar worker and I love my gold and silver.
Personal treasure!
I started with silver and then started picking up 1/10 ounce gold along with it. I split what I was spending monthly in half and spent half on gold half on silver. I am about a year in to it and now pickup a 1/4 and a 1/10 (to complete a tube of gold and ten ounce silver bars for weight. Gold is such a great store of wealth in a small package. Silver is like a drug habit I canât kickâŠ.love to hold it. Stay blessed amigo.

Silver is the gateway to gold, and random, cheap random fractional gold is the gateway to a stack of eagles.
Or a tube of buffalo! Either is fine by me đđŒ
ALWAYS STACK CONSISTENTLY and WITHIN YOUR BUDGET....
For me one 10g gold bar per month is my budget. The key is to do so constantly, try to ignore the spot price (but premium spread should be attended to), and don't let FOMO consume you.
I just compared the 10g gold bar vs 1oz bar vs 1/4 oz Phils(cheapest coin). The 10g is actually a very good buy at 3.6% vs 1.9% vs 8.7% premiums respectively. I know Britches doesn't like bars, but this is actually a very good buy in the long term, especially vs 1/4 oz coin in the $500-$600 price range. Definitely a waay better buy than silver. The current actual spot is at $1841.73. Thanks for pointing this out Hoosier.
Itâs not that I donât like them, I just prefer coins is all. Silver well Iâm slowly leaning towards bars for sure.
@@SilverBritches Semantics haha You got the RCM bug. I got the Libs bug.
I don't usually buy silver. My metal stack is mostly gold. The only time I bought silver was in 2016 when I had a bonus that I had no idea what to do with. Ended up buying a monsterbox of eagles. 500oz of silver in one go, and nothing has been added since. Law of diminishing returns. Just make your first purchase, then decide later whether you want to add or if that first purchase is enough for you.
Thanks Wokenomics!
From one blue collar guy to another....100% agree! Get in now and don't wait and say I should have or I could have, do it now. Great advice...one of your best!
Thanks brother!
If youâre buying gold, buy at minimum 1/4 oz, not 1/10 oz. Premiums are usually the same as 1/2 of. 1/10 oz isnât worth it.
I agree but Iâm just trying to get more people into the mindset of knowing itâs affordable.
Agreed. I'd rather pay 517$ for a 1/4 AGE than 225$ for a 1/10 AGE. The smallest I'll go is a 1/4
Agreed, I think 500oz of silver +- is plenty, and the remainder of my metals funds goes into gold. Great content, great channel. đ
Thanks nobody đ
Fellow blue collar stacker here. You're doing great!
Thanks Mike!
I always appreciate your perspective. Thanks for sharing your thoughts amigo!
I appreciate that!
My grandpa bought gold and never sold it. When he died he said he didn't want it ever sold but to remain in the family. Well, One of the children snatched it up and sold it to a dealer without anyone knowing. The dealer bought it for a fraction of the price. Now the family is angry and no one talks anymore. The whole thing just ripped the family apart. My advice, don't be stupid and have a plan for it if or when you die.
Well said. Iâve touched on this multiple times in my video. Leave behind a ledger what everything is worth.
Don't be stupid is a good plan for everything.

This was really well done. Your video is mildly emotional. It reminds me of my first purchase two Maples in 2021. Iâm a very average guy too. I started gold late in my life at 47. But fortunately, I was diligent to pay off my house early and work hard, never blew my money. So while I should have bought gold in the early 2000âs, even though itâs priced high now, I can still afford a little bit. Just a bit.

Iâm a Blue collar boy too, Iâve recently just started stacking silver; just hit 110oz as soon as my order comes in. Iâve been on the fence about gold only because itâs so expensive, but like you say, itâs only going to getting worse. After watching this video, Iâm gonna bite the bullet and save for an OZ on my next buy and consider it a kind of celebration for hitting 100 oz of silver
Itâs worth it. Pick out a winner Isaak!

I believe golds the play right especially in SHTF times just because of its ease of mobility, fractional silver & gold do well in that scenario but if your just talking about premiums/percentages then ya Iâd have to agree with you golds the play-1oz is the best for your buck but I do enjoy stackin 1/4 & 1/10ths as well when there on sale or a good deal to be had, fractional gold/silver will play a HUGE roll soon with whatâs on the horizon-doesnât look good man people stack what you can afford but gold is the better play these days-appreciate the story man stay strong keep pushin forward-United We Stand!!! !!!!!đđŒđ
Thanks Jason.
I recently started stacking gold and silver too. Somewhat sucked because the price dropped after I bought my first couple ounces (but it's a marathon, not a sprint), but not letting that discourage me. I've been putting my retirement funds into metals basically vs the 401k that I was putting into. I don't have a ton of faith in the 401k anymore as it's so closely intertwined with the stock market. People got screwed more than once. G

Similar situation as you. I did buy some grams of gold years back around $35 but it was hard to pull the trigger at that price. Dropping 2K all at once is rough, even a ounce of shot carries a decent premium these days. I like fractional so thatâs what Iâve been working on, 1/10 & 1/4.

Yeah itâs not really affordable if you look at premium versus gold. I get both sides though which is why I buy each.
Iâm saving silver as part of my retirement and also a form of regular savings. If the dollar never collapses and I donât have to trade silver I can sell it when I want to retire.

good advice - gold is the money, always has been, always will be. Those with less get screwed on higher costs of borrowing etc - and when they resort to sliver they are getting screwed on premiums and buying something that simply isn't scarce (they used to make pocket change out of it not that long ago). A one ounce 24k gold coin is a very compact store of wealth that can easily be transported or hidden and his VERY liquid
You can literally hold $40k in your palm easily and conceal it even easier.
And holding a 1 oz Buffalo or Eagle is an amazing thing. Knowing how hard you worked to attain this one small item. It keeps you motivated.
