The premiums add up to, thats why I avoid fractionals

Hey hey hey. Fractional sucks! Wtf, 10% premium? Save up and get an oz at 2-3% over. Or hunt for deals and deals only. Gold wont go up that much in the 3-4 months it takes u to save for 1oz compared to the premiums youll save, rather than get 10 10ths or 4 quarters. If u get tenths, u gotta wait till gold goes up by 250-400/oz JUST TO BREAK EVEN!! Please dont tell ur viewers to buy fractional, its a ripoff! AND they wont buy it back for a penny more than that fraction of the ounce. Its completely wasted money. If u cant save cash and are too tempted to spend it, and cant save, then get fractional, thats the only reason. Now u have something to hold rather than a splurge on something thats not even memorable, like booze or takeout food etc. Happy stacking

I feel like new stackers should automatically be going for 3 ounces of gold before they really start stacking silver because of the strategy and the gains. The best GSR is 30:1 IMO. I had to edit after hearing you speak of crypto because I feel crypto is as special as precious metals in that it should be around 10% of your total value for investment. 10% crypto and 10% of total wealth in precious metals. I appreciate the stock market as an investment too and should be about 20% of total wealth

Does milk spot also mean tarnishing? Like when silver turns yellowish or brownish, serious question cause my Britannia bars have lots of milk spots and are also tarnishing with yellowish and brownish colors.

If you are going to preserve coins this way then this is a good method. Using some brands of products is way more expensive and a chemical hazard. Some are likely to cause cancer. Bicarbonate of soda is very cheap and very safe. We have a little over 50oz of gold but have been buying since about 2008 off and on. We bought mostly 1oz coins, but never paid more than 1900. Now we are on a fixed income and when we buy ,we buy fractionals. The thing about fractionals is that not only are they cheaper but they are also more liquid. Of course the premiums are higher, but you buy what you can afford. Any gold is better than no gold.

I'm curious are your silver or gold Britannia coins do either have a sharp edges on the reedes edges. I got me a silver one cause I like it and thought about stacking them but I'm curious if they're all like that or did I just get unlucky. It just feels rough around the reeded edge it caught my gloves and caught lint off of them they were so rough or sharp. I love those coins would love to have a gold one.

Just hold it thats all anyone needs to do, maybe trade between the metals for your personal needs but just hold them both, keep in mind that stacking should be for your future, for when you retire or for your loved ones, for your children to have, its nice to see and look at for me and i know its not wasted money, but to know its for your family later is the best knowledge to have, peace of mind really

You want to stack both for differnet reasons, silver is better for bartering, but to have all your weath in silver is also nuts in the case that you need to bail out in a pinch, running off with a 1000 pounds of silver in a rush might not be an easy thing to do, but grabbing a small bag of gold is easy

Stack both always, for me im thinking 70/30 or 60/40 but basicly stack whats in your budget, you can always trade one for the other, trade based on the gold to silver ratio which can change over time, trade and stack wisely

Its called toning, its natural for silver to do this, i would just leave my silver to do what it does, i guess its fine if its just bullion you want shiny, but i wouldnt do this to any coin you want to keep its collector value for
