- In memory of Zach Farmer, a true legend in the world of turkey hunting. On January 28th, 2024, Zach Farmer lost his battle with cancer and was called home by the Lord. His legacy will forever be cemented in the hearts and minds of everyone that knew him.
He is my Uncle. I’m not a hunter but loved listening to him talking about hunting. He was just Uncle Zach to me. I am gonna miss him
No doubt turned out a trumpet for the Lord and teaching him how to call up a Gobbler in heaven......Great vid.........May God bless Zach Farmer..............
I had the opportunity and honor to sit in his seminars and have spoken with him via phone a couple of times. His trumpet calling was the best I ever heard and really inspired me to call with trumpet calls and suction yelpers almost exclusively. Add Larry Proffitt, Ralph Permar, and Mark Prudhomme to that list. My condolences to Rev Farmers family and to the loss to the turkey hunting world.

Never meet him, but he seemed like a fine man and no doubt will be missed. He though video turned me on to trumpets.

I watched a video a while back and didn’t know who he was. After watching the video I purchased The American Wild Turkey by Henry David because of him. I was able to find one on eBay. The more I listened/watch this man I come to appreciate what he has done for the Turkey world. Godspeed Mr. Farmer
Glad I got to call him Uncle Zack and was able to hunt with him he will be missed

He preached my cousins funeral. He was very good.
He used to come deer hunting with us on Good Hope Plantation a few times a year. Always had stories to tell and every once in a while, he could kill a deer too! Always so attentive in conversations. 🙏
