  • This video explains wow to adjust the Flush Volume for Geberit In-Wall toilets.
The flush volume for the standard flush can be set to 1.6 gallons or 1.28 gallons per flush.
The flush volume for the smaller flush cannot be adjusted. It is always set to 0.8 gallons.

Thanks for the useful video. The numbers 16 and 19 are actually 6 L and 9 L (litres) upside down!

Thank you for the video! It did really help though I have a slightly different Geberit system (manufactured in 5/2022). The good thing is that you may remove the whole flush mechanism in one piece and also there are two plastic parts on that to adjust both the small and large flushing volume independently. Very easy and quick to change (say 5 minutes max disassembly & assembly when you're doing it for the first time and taking photos during the process).

Thanks for the great video! Very informative.
I have purchased and installed a Geberit Omega 111.012.00.1 carrier for pre-walls. It is listed as the 1.6/0.8 gpf model.
I am hoping it has the blue dial that allows me to change the flush volume to accommodate the 1.2 gpf designer bowls that are available.
Do you know if I can change volume with this model?
    Thank you!
    William

I hope I'm not asking a dumb question, but it makes me nervous that I could drop the main assembly piece (the big white piece) while disassembling or re-assembling. Is it so deep and narrow that grabbing that piece back out of the carrier once the blue tabs are disconnected would be impossible or at least super difficult to do if it were to fall in and land on its side?

Hi, there should’ve enough space to get all the way to the bottom with one hand.
As least I was able to in the past - but I think I have not the biggest hands.

One more question, what is your setting 1.6 or 1.28, and why?

    • @MegaSafetyFirst
      @MegaSafetyFirst  Před 4 lety

The toilet is set to 1.28. In case more water is necessary you can always hold the button down for the full flush.

What exact model in-wall tank do you have? Or are you sure that this will work for any geberit system?

    • @DavidJohnColemanII

Oh nevermind, I see the model number in the video 111.728.00.1

I have a new Geberit tank. It flushed completely the first 10 times. Now, it does not flush completely unless you hold either button until the tank empties.

I purchased a Duravit toilet with a Gerbert flush system. I don’t have problems with the flush power. My problem is that the water level remaining inside the bowl is very low. Do you know how to adjust the water level inside the bowl. It is very embarrassing to see stains on the bowl because honestly everyone does not have perfect aim into the water. Just being realistic! This is a huge fail in the design of this system. I have asked the retailer and they tell me the water level inside the bowl can’t be adjusted because that is how the system is design. How is it possible for someone to poop in a practically dry bowl without leaving stains? 🐒💨Please Help! This is an expensive system and I don’t want to throw it out so soon.

Hola Maribel. If you search in Google "little water in toilet bowl" there are many results of why this happens. Apparently, it is not a Geberit issue but can happen with any toilet.

  • @mygiguser

Wow that looks way complicated. My toilet bowl does a solid 5 GPF, you can never have enough water for your flush.

I hate geberet with a passion. I grew up in a house with a toilet that flushed since 1907. Now I have this cheap plasticy toilet that goes wrong and is impossible to fix. What's wrong with good materials and simplicity?
