True ceramic coating cannot be done in home, it should be done by an expert costing 20 30 40k, my swift owner cannot afford it so better do it at home with little imperfections 😂
Prices has generally come down these days and costing approx 10 to 15 k for 3 layers of coating or even less for 1 layer of coating
I had done ceramic coating at home on my nexon
And recently on our new skoda

Like we mentioned in video it can be done anywhere you wish to but you must have proper equipment’s before you go through the process.
We would also recommend you to please watch video on how ceramic coating gets done and hope that will help you forward

I did ceramic at home on month old sonet. Its really easy and not something which should not be done at home. I got very good results for almost a year now. I am planning to do hydrid coat now to get more hydrophobic effect.. if you make public vedio on CZcams, please try to give genuine feedback and not mislead viewers.

Hi Raj We are sure that you must have done a ceramic coating perfectly but please share your inputs on how you did the correction of paint and what helped you in removing all scratches and swirl marks on your car or were you even able to properly pressure wash and clay your car.

@@pravinmore2174 oh really😂, go to any showroom in India an check the paint on the vehicle which is about to be delivered. You will find a lot of swirls, if the showroom makes wax application before the delivery, check it after the first wash.

I did simple procedure..i washed my car..i have car polishime machine i did car buffing, and shine...left 2 hrs then i made a salution of sirka to clean residue..and coted my car..

Ceramic coating can be done at home easily on a new car...if paint correction is required in your car, then thrs no option but to go to a detailer..i did it myself on my new kia Carens...all done in Rs. 5000😊

100% right. Ceramic coating should be done in confined and dust free environment. Also proper room temperature should be maintained. It's better you wax your brand new car at home and spray Ceramic spray gloss just like polish. Waxing your car every 2 months will also keep the gloss and color intact for long time.
Bro SiO2 is not siliconoxide, but it's silicon dioxide as there are 2 molecules of oxygen and 1 molecule of Silicon.
I have seen outlets don't even have dust free environment for themself still providing ppf, ceramic and other services

I agree khud se home pe 100% wo wali coating ni hogi jo aplog shop me krte ho..
but agar 50% bhi hoti hai to its ok na..
jo price aplog charge karte ho utne me mai puri gaadi re-paint kara sakta hu which can be offcourse done after 1 or 2 years also..
so I understand somewhere it is affecting business like you all, but you have to also understand that everyone can not spend this much of amount every 2 or 3 years..
If they want, they can go for re-paint after 4-5 years at same cost that you are charging for ceramic coating only.
Ceramic coating should done in labs only for luxury cars.

Ofcourse DIY can't match professional job, 9H or 10H hardness nahi mil sakti par Gloss, Hydrophobic properties UV protection and value for money toh mil hi sakti hai.

IR light se curing foreign countries mai ya Kashmir jese geographical conditions mai required hai. India k most parts mai IR lamp ki jarurat nahi.

Uske alawa aap konse season mai karte ho night ya day us hisab se aap calculate kar k ghar pe kar sakte ho. If U r inteligent it's not a big deal. Illiterate majdur agar garage mai aapki bike chamka sakta hai to aap log padhe likhe hai bus online research karlo or calculation jara lagado apne yaha k temprature k hisab se n that's it.
Frankly ye jitne showroom wale badi badi batey karte hai usta kam nahi karte customer jane k baad sab shortcut chalta hai. Agar customer bolega Mere samne karo to uska itna time waist karenge phele jese wo free mai karwane aaya ho. So do it at home that's easy n cheap. ❤

This is simply a biased view for the obvious reason that this guy himself is one of the service provider. definitely paint correction can't be done at home but ceramic coating can be definitely be done at home.
For dust issue , choose super early morning time. When temperature is low and air is dense. It contains very less amount of dust.
Rainy days is most preferred but you need to have a covered parking offcourse. Few dust particles or imperfection here and there is fine for most of us. Especially ones with sub 15 lac cars.
I am being doing diy coating since last five years. Current have four cars in the house and gone through 9 so far.

Bakwas mat karo, u can do ceramic coating at home. It's only 10% difference in output, wherein 80% cost is saved.
I ordered 2k 9h ceramic from Amazon, when I asked from TP shops, they quoted 18k. My car is i20 and if it is rolls Royce, than I may consider your suggestion

Of course it can be done at home with some care! This guy is only fooling around. Since they charge absurd amounts between 20000/- and 40000/-, they want to make it appear like a very tricky job that only they can do.

@tripwash: you are very far away from what is called chemistry.
Baking SIO2 does not change it to a crystal layer. Learn chemistry Sir.
IR Lamp just reduces the drying time of the ceramic coating nothing else.
And yes there is no ideal temperature for the ceramic coating to dry. If the temperature is low, it will take more time to cure, thats all.
