@@ofwpower sir kaka file ko lng ng mp2 maturity widrawal, then nag email sakin ang IOG OFW PAGIBIG FUND members services, kinuhanan ako ng bank details na duun daw i sesend ung mp2 withdrawal ko kaya nag send ako ng bdo acct ko kasi wla akong pagibig loyalty card, then ofw kasi ako kaya ang pinili ko ung via check nlng kaso naghingi nga sila ng bank details ko.

You better ask PAGIBIG OFFICE. I am not aware about this. Only LOYALTY CARD PLUS is allowed for Pagibig Disbursement either P1 or MP2.

Here in the US, we report interest income with the rest of our incomes to the IRS. Is it the same in the Philippines? Do we need to file and report interest income ?
No need to file. In the Philippines, all interest income are automatically subject to FINAL TAX. Hence no need to declare as they are already taxed by the BANKS.
Sir kahit po ba 5 years na sa loyalty card plus yung pera na galing sa mp2 hindi po ba mababawasan ng tax?
Halimbawa Sir....ang mp2 ko ay 2 million at nag interest ng 300,000 sa loob ng limang taon so 2,300,000 ang nakadeposito sa loyalty card plus....yong 300,000 pesps na interest mula sa mp2 ay kukuhanan ng interest ng bangko?

@@ofwpowerTingin ko po ang gusto nyang itanong if 2.3M yung makukuha nya sa Pagibig (capital + earnings), buo po ba nyang makukuha yung 2.3M sa Loyalty Card Plus o babawasan po ng bank once dineposit na sa bank. Parang ang madedeposit lang po ay 2.24M. Pero based nga po dun sa sinabi nyo, yung earnings ng MP2 ay hindi subject to tax. Good job po Sir!

Yung 5,000 pesos ay interest ng bangko po yun. Kita ng 500,000 nio yun. Kung wala sa bangko ang inyong pera WALANG KITA....so wala kayong 5,000. ZERO ang kita.
Ah ok po, iniicip ko po kasi ung nasa MP2, nag dividend tas pag nilagay po sa loyalty card plus, ay magkakaruon ng 20% tax..?... which kong ang dividend ay kukuhanin thru cheques ng Landbank ay walang kaltas
Kahit Landbank, kahit UB or kahit AUB, lahat ng interest sa pera ninyo is subject to 20% tax. Walang exemption.
