    STOP. JUST STOP. STOP THE HATE. WE ALL BLEED THE COLOR RED. NO OFFICER, NO BLACK MAN, NO WHITE MAN, AND NO HUMAN AT ALL SHOULD BE KILLED FOR THE WAY THEY FUCKING LOOK. Please know that there are bad human beings on this Earth, and good ones. It doesn't matter what color you are, there are bad people all around; But what we must do is solve this with love, because hate cannot defeat hate until all are dead. There is no multiple races such as White and Black, there is only one race. The Human Race. Please, just stop all this, we can all be better people. Is this really the world we want our children, our sons and daughters to grow up in?

      Oh man, I think you are the only person on here who is spreading the solution to this problem. The best way to confront this is with peace and love, not violence and weaponry.

      Thank you very much for saying this. Lately, there's been nothing but violence in and everyday I hear about a shooting or another terrorist attack and it sickens me to see everyone fighting each other all over the world. This sounds kind of cliche and yes, I'm stealing this from the original PowerPuff girls series, but love is what makes the world go round. Not hate.

      You are honestly so wrong, you need to reevaluate how you see police officers if you think that "all cops are bad", not every human being inside of a police officer's uniform is an evil person, many of them just want/wanted to help the community and have been trying to do the right thing, the officers that do bad shit are horrible people and that is recognized by all, but the good ones deserve to not be treated like shit by people like you. You're only fueling the fire with your ignorant hatred.

    • @SnakeWasRight
      @SnakeWasRight Před 8 lety

      Yeah I mean it is sweeping under the rug the fact that he'll fuck up and kidnap anyone who he believes is voluntarily using a plant that is banned by his superiors, or anyone who questions the officers who supposedly work for the public. I myself have been threatened with arrest simply for asking the question, "why." I was surrounded in less than a second, and I have zero doubts that if I didn't look like a nonthreatening white person, I would have been thrown to the ground immediately. These consisted of a white woman, a white man, a black woman and a black man, all the cops. I would like to think that cops could be peaceful, but by definition, if they are doing their job, they're violating basic human rights, and violently. Enforcing any law is inherently violent, and no matter how nice they think themselves, they deny responsibility in instilling fear and distrust in the populace.

    • @SnakeWasRight
      @SnakeWasRight Před 8 lety

      All cops either allow, or enforce laws that violate basic freedoms, whether they want to act nice about it or not. Enforcing the law is inherently violent, and they refuse to recognize this or use it to measure their impact on the people they supposedly protect, but police show up too late to actual incidents, and usually bullets only start flying once police get involved, so it's ironically safer without them.

Black on black crime has nothing to do with police brutality. We feel police officers should (and they will) get prosecuted for killing innocent victims. We all are human at the end of the day.

    Sounds like he was a wonderful man. How sad 😢 Praying for his wife and children. Praying for every innocent who lost their lives regardless of which side you're on. There are good and bad on both sides but more good. Enough already America, please. What kind of mess do we want to leave our children to clean up? Let's get bad cops off the street and show honor and respect to the good cops who sacrifice themselves everyday for law and order. Let us not allow racism to grow in us. This really isn't so much a black and white issue as it is an abuse of power by some and lawlessness of other. Let's protect our sons. Let's raise our kids RIGHT! And please, let's do everything we can to stop the hate that is growing so damn fast. Shame on anyone who's goals are oppression or punishment. The goal should be change and respect. Now I'm going to pray for the America my three sons are growing up in and for their safety and INTEGRITY. Integrity.... Know what it means and fix your eyes on it.

It is not necessary to make a choice; one can say that there is a problem with relations between black america and police AND still support and respect police who enforce the laws without bias or prejudice.

    something about what he wrote makes me think something was going on more than we know.
    this was A good man it seems like he was trying to say a lot.
    Maybe it's Me but so much is going on you don't know who to trust, the people that's out to get you, or the people that's closest to you.
    GOD BLESS...

    These comment boards just prove that the biggest threat to America is ourselves. We just can't stop fighting and hating one another and it makes me sick. You guys are the problem here, the faster we admit that the better

    There's a lot of people here blaming the BLM movement... But this officer supported it. He was with them. The comment, "judged when I'm out of the uniform" was in mention of the color of his skin. Then with the uniform on he got judged because of that as well.
    He understood the movement, unlike most people who make their ignorant comments on this thread...
    The shooter in Dallas was not with BLM. He felt more drastic actions were needed. He opposes BLM because they were non violent. Anyone who kills officers is not part of BLM nor do they represent the movement. I know it's easier to ascertain to this method of thinking, but it's primitive and wrong at best.
    You do an injustice to this officer's entire life when you blame the movement. He had to fight everyday for two spectrums that most won't understand. And in the end he still wanted love not hate. So stop with the hateful rhetoric and if you want to condemn the movement do so on a KKK video where your comments are welcome.

      BLM doesn't promote violence. What you have here are people who feel as if society doesn't think their lives matter. And that's what they are saying. What's wrong with that?
      There will always be extremists everywhere you look. Their actions should not define what the movement stands for. And anyone who claims to be for the movement inciting violence of any kind is not for the movement.
      What you are basically saying - Though thousands of people believe they are being systemically put down, they should not bring awareness to this situation because it allows people to be extreme. So deal with it.
      That's unfair. The reason people are being extreme is like this - despite a movement that understands them finally happening after years of feeling this way. Society is STILL doing what they can put them down and keep them quiet. My only option remains is that of extremism.
      Not condoning their actions because it's 100% wrong, but that's typically why these people are lashing out.

      Is it so hard to acknowledge that problems exist? That police brutality occurs? Not just for blacks, but everyone? That a better training system could be put in place for our officers? That it's okay they be held to a higher standard as they have the means to take a life or ruin one by putting someone behind bars?
      I don't think that sounds so crazy. And it's topics like these that the movement wants to bring up.

  • @Hearsticles
    @Hearsticles Před 8 lety

    The BLM message is divisive -- I don't think it's outright hatred like a lot of people claim, but it will foster hatred in people who already hate cops, people who are unstable, people who have issues just waiting for something to trigger a violent rampage. I'm a liberal through and through. Activism is important to me, but this is not about equality or bringing people together: it's about vitriol and pointing the finger. It's about laying the blame and calling for responsibility, and too many people default to violence when the other side disagrees with them.
    The issue with cops, the issue with our prison/industrial complex, the way our laws target certain disadvantaged people... these aren't RACIAL issues. These are class issues. You think the law gives a fuck if someone is poor and white over someone who is poor and black? You're wrong. Money is the force that turns the wheel in Washington. It's gigantic lobbies for the prison system, for big tobacco, for big pharma, etc, that shape our laws and push legislation.
    So yeah, keep blaming the cops who make less than 100k a year for all of your problems -- the billionaires will lean back in their chairs, have a good laugh at you, and light another cigar.
