Take a heat gun to impreg plastics and it with make them look oem new. Just be careful on the amount of heat you use on them as yes it will bring out the wet look without collecting dust like the dressings do. Don't melt it. Now you just saved all those trips to the store. Id recommend cleaning the parts with dish soap water or wax and grease remover before using this heat method. Disclaimer won't work on soft touch plastics or painted plastic
good looks! i’ve tried this method multiple times before and have been really disappointed with the results, it looks great for a little while and then after a few months it ends up looking just as bad as it did to begin with :/ properly painting is a more permanent solution especially if you were to use a good clear coat as a final step (not shown here)
I can't wait for more budget/cheap mod videos so I can do more stuff to my GLI once it gets warmer outside.

Have you had a problem with your sunroof? Mine has a gap probably an 1/8 inch on the back side where the seal is supposed to go all the way around and was wondering if there’s a fix for that besides a new seal
honestly man I don't have that issue that I know of so im afraid I can't be much help :/ maybe the sunroof motor is out of whack on the servos or gears or whatever, you could try adjusting that some how? ive had my sunroof out before and its prettier easy so replacing the seal shouldn't be too hard if it comes down to that. best of luck!

Should have used a heat gun for the little lift up on the bottom of the lip, but the zips work🤷♂️
