Klay had a terrible game but he had great defense but if steph didnt score that 14 pts the game might of be different.

the thing no one is talking about is that he is scoring, yes, but he is running that whole offense along with draymond green. the great passes and cuts he made to get other guys open the past two games were phenomenal. and his defense is actually quite good. he seems to be the only guy on the warriors that is staying composed at all times and playing at the right tempo. klay draymond and poole really have an issue with not knowing when to be pushing the ball up or not. curry looks relaxed and he is just picking apart the game. absolutely top 3 player in the league imo. finally out of his slump it seems and really playing well. + amazing scorer.

@@isaacdebeila8085 most of Steph’s 3’s come from being in a pick and roll or coming off of screens. He’s usually guarded by multiple defenders because of that. Not saying he can’t cook off of 1 on 1’s but that doesn’t win championships
Props to Steve Kerr, the success the Warriors have in the 3rd quarter specifically says a lot to me about his greatness as a coach and tactician.
I think he learned that from playing with the Bulls, they used to hammer folks in the 3rd quarter.

Warriors played a dominating state of basketball last night. Even when the game was close the Warriors remained poised and in control. I never felt like they worried for one second.

Turnovers have been the story of Boston’s season in this years playoffs. And it’s mostly been due to carelessness more than anything, because the times they took care of the ball, they’ve been pretty much unbeatable against their opponents. Steph isn’t a front-runner. That’s a misleading term. He’s a rhythm player that exponentially feeds off of the energy of the building or game. If they’re down 15 and he hits a couple shots, he catches rhythm and might hit 4 3s in a row. He does plenty of damage when the Warriors are behind or neck-and-neck with the other team. “Front-runner” is not an appropriate description.
So the Celtics sweep KD, the beat the defending champion Bucks, and the 1 seed Heat, but now they are inconsistent and don't deserve to be there. Steph had 3 fouls that were actual fouls. He ended the game with only 3 fouls. Them giving Brown that second foul with NO contact took him out and obviously hurt. Not why they lost but definitely hurt.

Steph had 3 fouls in Game 1 and sat down for majority of the 2nd but came back in the 3rd cooking. Brown did nothing when he returned and then got on the podium after the game blaming the loss on the refs. He and Tatum combined for 36 points to end the first and had 9 to end the damn second half. That’s not the refs, that’s poor play.

The "experts" said that the Celtics won game 1 even with Jayson Tatum not scoring well and the Warriors starting the game hot, and they implied that if Jayson Tatum scores well and the Celtics start hot, then Boston will be good for game 2. Well, both of those things happened, and the result of game 2 did not turn out as the experts said it would if those 2 things happened. Each game is just going to be a unique story, and Shannon is again implying only one specific thing that can cause the Celtics to be good for sure if it is reversed from game 2 to game 3. Well, maybe, but most likely game 3 will be another unique story with too many variables that can completely change in game 3, especially on offense. It's too hard to tell which other players can suddenly explode and go off for a ton of points, because there are so many good shooters. Where are the real analysts like in the past who can really give some interesting commentary with more Xs and Os that can be applied to the next game? Not just hindsight replay of mistakes and best players in the last game.

I called warriors by 20. Missed it by 1 but it was never going to be close. Horford, Smart and White weren't going to have back to back great games. And Kerr came with an entirely different lineup. Otto Porter and Payton Jr instead of Poole changed their defensive mindset this game. Brilliant coaching that nobody is talking about.

Warriors defense put the clamps on Boston after the 1st qtr. The whole 4th was garbage time. Tatum goes off and GS still blew them out the buildng with hot shooting & scrappy defense. Smart & Horford were MIA tnight, and JBrown disappeared after the 1st. JPoole & Looney came up huge for GS, even Klay T had a clutch momentum-shifting 3 in that 3rd (still Struggling bad). Boston got obliterated in the paint, and were sloppy af with the basketball. Reminiscent of the Heat series

The refs are not to blame, but making a bad calls are momentum breakers for the other team. Jaylen brown didnt even touch him and draymond green with grant williams standing still just runs over him and grant gets a foul call. Jaylen Brown started great but took some incredibly dumb shots afterwards, the most egregious was when Draymond had him locked up and his ego forced him to shoot a ridiculous field goal instead of resetting and trying to find a better alternative. Love his energy but he can really lose it at times.
Also if you play Curry with single coverage he either dribbles past you, gives the ball up to run around the court or uses a screen to get open. This is why you have to trap him as often as possible and live with the results.
