Once the capacitor is charged to a certain voltage it switches on the fet which turns on the led and starts charging the next capacitor, which charges and switches on the next fet, lighting the next led and so on

@@sebo0855 ATtiny is small and light, I use ATtiny 85 for voltage control of LiPo.
With "PWM" you don´t mean the PWM output of the ATtiny ?
But the output of the RC receiver ( throttle channel ) ?
That is connected to an digital input of the ATtiny and interpreted with "Pulse In" by the Arduino IDE ?
      ( 1 ms = min, 2 ms= max, or inverted ? )
ATtiny is about 1 € and works fine, Arduino Nano is about 2 € and it´s programming is easier because it´s programmed via USB. But it´s bigger an heavier.
Disadvantage of both: You have to be common with ARDUINO and Arduino IDE.
Advantage: Arduino can be used for a lot of electronic taskes, it´s cheap and simple.
