Thank you brother Fuji for this great story. Brings peace to me and love to my HMONG peeps. True story about where we were in the past. My father has similar story. Not too many parents know this info but when I listen to ur story it brings a lot of memory when my dad talks to me of where my clan is from and how we travel through the lands where some of us are in today. Plz continue and share ur knowledge and wisdom of our HMONG people.
Knowing our pass definitely helps bring Hmong people closer. Very moving story telling. As we move farther from Earth and look at the Milky Way Galaxy and seeing only Earth that is filled with life and human beings, we tend to think that we humans are all alone in the Universe and that we all should cherish our time together and love one another no matter what race. We really are just one race. We all should live in peace with each other.
No doubt perhaps we were involved in the building of the Great Wall during the Qin Dynasty. We were a very small minority that did not have a significant effect in China's history. Our interactions with China only had a major impact on ourselves hence the isolated heroic/suffering stories that is past down from the elders. Overall the Hmong did not care about ruling a country nor abide by any ruling leader. We were a nomadic tribe just " passing by" as we love to roam the world and would only stay if the climate was advantageous to us. We are"Free" like the some say, "Hmong means free". That is why until this day we don't like being "ruled" hence we have no leader it can't find it in ourselves to have a "steady home" We go where it is most advantageous for us, like to "migration to mn", the migration to raise chickens, and now the marijuana phase. Perhaps it's a survival mode that we are also in due to whatever happened in our time in China... There's a lot to be opinionated here but for now let's just say this: We like to be "free" and we assimilate very well. We don't mind incorporating other cultures into our own, cause we don't hate...
