Wonderful Rich, your attention to detail and seeing how you layed down the embossed brick frontage that perfectly sits inside cuoin stones. As viewers so satisfying. The finished frontage was wonderful and the tiled front above the step 👍 always lookout for your video uploads which me and Lesley enjoy so much. Have a lovely week ahead guys 🤗
Hello both! So glad you liked what I'd done to the front of the house 🙏 it took so long to cut all the templates and get it all right before cutting the brick paper. But I found that forgetting to breathe now and again, really seemed to help! 😂
I love the Terry Harrison brushes, I went on a couple of workshops of his years ago, he was a lovely man. The house is looking amazing! The concrete effect looks so good, thanks for sharing all the tips and tricks. 😊
I love the doorway, the colours and the tiles you’ve used Rich, the quoins look great with that paint effect, the lead on the roof and windows is amazing too, tfs x Julie
Many thanks 🙏 yes, fingers crossed that it works for me. As far as I know, I've worked it out but I couldn't have a practice run because I didn't want to just pop up "live" with no audience waiting! 😂
It is looking beautiful!!! Just a thought Rich. But you can coat your finger tips in a thin layer of glue with a brush and let it dry when handling the lead. It will put a protected coat on your fingers and keep it from your skin. I do that because I can't wear gloves to craft. Hope this helps. Love your videos!!!

I love the work on the house! Also, thank-you for all your tips and techniques. As a big fan of your vases, having purchase a few from you in the past, I'm happy to hear you have sold some more! I hope I can make it to your live stream, and see all that you have to share.
Hi Richard, I love this house you’re working on now, & eagerly look forward to more!!! I’ve used embossed old stone card & herringbone subway tile before, & would always prefer the embossed card for its texture & hardiness over paper. I learn a lot from watching your explanations & attention to details, especially with the interior & exterior fit outs. What a shame I am 9 hours ahead of you in the UK, so watching your live video means getting up at 3am Thursday morning!!! 😱 No doubt I can still catch up with it at a later time, even if it’s not live?
Hi Lana, thank you for enjoying watching this next house journey 🙏 but it's really annoying because I just knew that I wouldn't pick a time for livestreaming to suit everyone, because we are all over the world 😏 but hopefully I will get another video on the commission house when I've completed the next installment video! 😊

I just purchased one of your vases b/c really like it, but also as much for giving a thank you for your videos and content. Thanks! :)

We are just now planting our dahlias. Hope your live video goes well. I'm too low tech to be in on that, but will watch later if that is possible.
That’s what I said when I saw it, YAY, another video! I’m one of those people, I bought two vases and they are absolutely perfect for where I wanted to put them. I knew when he reminded people in the last video that he had an Etsy shop that I better hurry up and get the ones I wanted. And yes the little origami box is really special.
The house looks great! And you are a man after my own heart - I get lost in dollhouse land and the hours just fly by. I also totally enjoyed your garden! Listening to the birds singing and seeing all the beautiful flowers, I felt myself relaxing. It was wonderful! Love to you, John, and the boys, and I can't wait for the live stream!! 💮💮🌻🌻

Hello Heather, the houses I work on are either my own private houses, or they are commissions I get from clients paying me to design and decorate their own
Rich- where to I start? Well, at the end. Your 6 pm UK time is 10 am Pacific Northwest (Seattle- 10 am). This entire video has bee so awesome. I learned so much and wished really hard that the commission house was mine- but no genie appeared to grant it so. Hake brush ('hockey" brush) looks so good. I use the Japanese large ones for sumi ink drawings but never thought of one for mini work, although the items I"ve attempted would look. better covered w. a mini tarp. :(
So interesting to think that we ate all on different times around the world! And just to clarify, the brush that I showed was a specific brush designed by Terry Harrison (an artist of our time) and he called this one a "square rake" brush. It may be similar to other generally made art brushes, but it was just a design made by the artist 😊
@@RichMiniatures Thank you for the brush info! About different time zones, my daughter & family, Boston zone (3 hr.from me), my son and family, Iceland (7 hr), but he's currently in Greece (10 hr), I never know when to call!.
@maroulio2067 wow! You have family all over the place! No wonder you never know when to call 🙄 we had a holiday in Iceland once. It was quite an experience and very different from home. Which was good because I love to learn about how other folk live in their environments
@@RichMiniatures We are 2 hr. northwest of Seattle in a small house in a small town (Port Townsend). If you and John ever come this way I would be honoured to cook lunch for you.

@maroulio2067 that sounds just lovely! I've now looked at images of Port Townsend and I love the architecture. And I love the fact that it is so different from my own surroundings!
