Very nice aircraft. Like you, I also like to sit just aft of the wings. Most stable part of the aircraft, I believe. I also enjoy watching the flaps do their thing upon takeoff and landing. I love that tower off to the right at Istanbul airport (05:15 - 05:27). Enjoy your trip to Amsterdam! A beautiful city.

I believe its temporary issue with some of the gates who still need a automatic docking installation. There were isseus with the american manifacturer who was supposed to install them. But its not often that the planes are parked on a remote spot like this. With my flight 2 weeks ago we used the gate bridge to enter the plane.
