I don’t think love fails, I think it’s the person that chose not to live up to it, like a partner saying they had no choice when they cheated even though they could’ve just said no or stopped hanging around that person that was corrupting them.
Love, which the proper word is charity, is willing the good of another, not so much feelings or passions. So it is a conscious choice. I challenge you to live as if you truly willed the good of everyone else, putting aside pride, envy, lust, resentment, impatience. Do this for a while, naturally some will decide to hurt you in return. Just keep going. Life will change. This changed my life, and I’ve seen it change lives. But it is impossible without faith in Jesus, because he is the love. God bless you man.

I don't trust what the world tells us about how the earth is, that's for sure. The world teaches the things of lies that go against the Bible. May God and His Word guide us and give us the ability to make the distinction between truth and falsehood.
In every translation I read it says it is written: “For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, And He has set the world upon them.” NKJV This one specifically is the NKJV, but even the others that I read say similar, I believe even the original KJV reads something similar, but in different words.

If it fails, then it wasn’t love. Don’t lose faith my friend, God will send you the right person in your life you just have to trust him.
Gods love does not fail my friend, even in the shadow of the valley of death, the Lord is with you. Not because he has to, but because he loves you.
