    The new Distribution Center missions are in the mobiglass contract manager.
    You might have to do a few bunkers first before they show up, not sure.

    We need more fun elements in the game so it's nice to see something is fun. Can't probably say the same after the 100th mission but that might be asking too much.

    I think because of the server desync, the server does not change the firing modes of the weapons with the weapon. This results in the weapon being in the wrong fire mode and no longer firing at all. Switching fire mode usually fixes this bug for me. :)

    As a former Battlefield and Titanfall player, this is hard to watch. I heard they are still having issues with replication layer, resulting in lag.

    Maybe they're finally figuring out missions. It seems like FPS combat is in better shape than flight but with the recent changes and the goofball they have in charge I don't have a lot of hope that will last.

      We can hope so, but box missions, the basic bread and butter of any MMO fetch quest are still hopelessly unreliable. At this point I'm starting to wonder if it's an upsell tactic as starter ships are really only good for box deliver missions and with the upped AI difficulty now can't even really to MRTs as a new pilot.

    Yae got the same problem in the bunkers. the problem there as well is that they shoot through walls, and the npcs ofthen doesent render in until they are a meter infront.the weapon stops working while the enemy is Infront of you, and hitting enemy's with the stock of the weapon doesn't seem to do anything. so wont do any bunkers until its patched. or rather wont do anything until RSI day

    i also had the, 'guns don't fire' bug, but it would only last for a few seconds, and i could switch to another weapon and it would usually work.

    I also get the gun jams, especially in critical moments, so annoying, usually spamming the trigger until it works.
    At least if the mechanic was actually implemented i could plan around it.

    Can you please do a testing video on testing desync on PVP dogfighting etc. - I can share you a few videos and send you my discord with links from testing I have done. There is major desync and FPS issues when fighting against players who have higher pings. Not joking its almost unplayable when trying to fight a player at ping around 70-80 if your ping is below 50.

      @john-paulfoster1703 thank you very much but Star Citizen has major desync and lag issues forever. Even slowing down ship speeds in combat with console mode, oops sorry, mastermodes, doesn't improve this much.
      Hopefully another thing that will get fixed with server meshing, if CIG ever can get it to work.
      I am not sure what a video from me would change, Chris knows it, CIG knows it, players know it and it is terrible for Star Citizen in year 12.

      @@Camural agreed but I think right now it has gotten much much worse (new rock bottom) to the paint where unless pings are parodies you might as well suicide or sweat your ass off like got for the win.
      For example in mirrored fights players with higher ping will strip shields in .5-1 second using non meta loadouts, and shots hit but don't reg or give damage. I have also tested it against pilots I know and have footage of personally mopping the floor with in live, 3.22.1 MM, and now in live MM the fights are not even the same fights happening.

      @john-paulfoster1703 I am totally with you. The desyncs, lag and input delay issues are terrible in Star Citizen, at least since 3.0 and it has gotten worse.
      However, I have to find a fine balance between showing what is wrong in Star Citizen and showing what has improved.
      I don't want to be labeled as a hater, well many people already do.
      If I would make a video and showing the desync and lag issues, the White Knights will just say "CIG will fix this with server meshing"
      I actually make videos showing those issues in PvE, for example bunker or Distribution Center missions.
      Personally, I am not sure if CIG can ever get static and dynamic server meshing to work satisfactory.
      Just the amount of data that has to be replicated in a short amount of time is a huge problem.
      The demo CIG showed last year at Citizencon was only a very small room, with a few players, still it had errors.
      CIG tries hard to cover the problems, for example they have given us console modes, aka mastermodes to reduce ship speeds in combat but desyncs and lags are still evident.
      If CIG cannot fix the desync and lag issues Star Citizen will be DOA.

    I was there last night as well. The invisible player bug is back. The Ai is still horrendous. It looks cool and its huge but until it is "fun" I just don't care.

    Yeah so I found that if you holster the weapon and pull it back off your back it will fire. I had the same problem with the FS9

    For me the fps drops are so bad at these distribution centers that it's basically unplayable, I've done like 10 of them and it seems as I kill more and more npcs the fps gets better and better - so the issue seems to be with too many npcs and too many items all in one place. When they're all dead it's not so bad

    as an arma player this looks awful to me. not just the lag but the whole layout and design.
    it's a short distance engagement arena shooter forced into an open world.
    every box and cover is just obnoxiously placed to force short engagements and to, probably unsuccessfully do, deny long to midrange engagements.
    the place looked like a generic battleground arena before, seeing it in half-baked laggy action just confirms it further.
    i don't get why there is games that give you guns and then want you to go into engagements so close that you'd just pull a knife or sword instead.

    This 'fun' looks better described as a 'buggy mess' by any reasonable standard. Oh sure, 'early days' in year 12 and 'just wait for ______', small indie studio and all that.

      I had fun with those missions in Star Citizen only because they are new I guess.

      Of course, Star Citizen is still in alpha but according to CIG it is also a "Live service game" and we are in year 12.

    Been taking a break from SC for almost a year now, I always intended on coming back but I was waiting until I felt the game could hold my attention for a while. I thought distribution centers would be when I wanted to come back but after watching these missions, I don't think it's the right time yet. I really want Star Citizen to feel like an MMO with interesting content, but the braindead NPC combat feels so boring and the biggest challenges in the game seem to be finding work arounds for their various glitches. I guess Star Citizen isn't really a game built to create interesting content because of its "realistic" approach. I'm really hoping Pyro provides something new, like I was hoping distribution centers were, instead of just being really large bunkers. When I really think about it, I think SC events are pretty good but their daily content is just so bland.
