- With 3 people, I made a slow sharp turn that tipped us and we fell off. Not a capsize, but tipped all 3 of us off. Just another wave runner tidbit from Red Right Return.
Hey, you didn’t HAVE to make this video- but you did and I’m glad. I certainly appreciate the helpful tips. New jet ski owner and I’ve never launched by myself before.

heads up: do not beach the ski on any sand bar !, this will ruin the haul, which brings the re-sale value down if you decide to sell or trade it in ?. get your hands on an anchor with a short rope, stay about 2-3 feet off the sand bar. drop the anchor there. also...never, ever..start the ski in less than 2 ft of water ?, you will suck up sand, rocks into the intake, will be a bad day then..lol.
It has been a year since launching and loading my VX. Around the dock is where you can beat the crap out of the ski. I use bumper guards when tyin the ski to the dock. In bumpy weather or waves you need the guards big time.

Thanks for the video. I just got my VX cruiser HO in Sept. I have taken it to the ramp like three times where I figured out I can launch by myself and never get wet. I do like the strap you used to attach to the cleat on the ski. They are nice, I have two of them.

@@jacobpagnotta8873 So I really enjoy it. I have only got to ride it three times as I got the unit end of September. I cant wait until this May. Setting the cruise control seems to be hard to get it set. Outside of that, a wonderful machine.
Bought brand new waverunner went to break it in , didn’t do any fully throttling just cruising , after a couple hours heading back to the dock when in idle smoke coming out from under but when you hit the gas a little it’s stops and come back when you let off . Is that normal ?
That’s just exhaust smoke. You will see it when you flush the engine in your driveway with the hose and engine flush nipple. Now, when you say “from under” does that mean from the step area in the back, under the seats, or under the hull that sits in the water? If coming from the back of the wave runner, that’s the exhaust.
Nice Waverunner I’m a Sea Doo guy but really just fan of all PWCer’s but you must like pizza as well. Enjoy it & good riding to you & yours.
Absolutely with the pizza👍🏽😂😎 I about bought the SeaDoo Fish Pro but the same dealer said the dashboard and key fobs were missing so the Yamaha VX Cruiser came through first….. really wanted that Fish Pro though
Where do you buy this strap? I just bought a jetski and will be needing to launch quite a bit by myself. Trying to learn all the best tips and tricks to make it as easy as possible.
I got these at my local family owned hardware store. They solve many problems 😆 anchoring and docking. As far as any tips and tricks, that’s what all my videos are about and if you watch them I hope they help. Pretty much cover it all👍🏽

I have to correct you on something. The term “jet ski” is trademarked by Kawasaki (similar as to how Yamaha terms theirs ‘Waverunner’”.
