Heavy rainfall to prevail in future; likely to affect state’s agriculture, says IMD Goa

As the state receives heavy showers which is capable of submerging the state, the IMD Goa has received around 235 mm rainfall which is higher than the average for Goa. Such situation will prevail in future. Out of the 13 stations in Goa, 10 stations received heavy rainfall indicating a red alert warning. As per the IMD Goa, these rainfalls are likely to affect the Goa’s agriculture on a large extent.
