- This is a multiplayer roleplay game of victoria 3 gameplay as Germany. In the 6th part of this series Germany comes out of the great war as the victor. Yet as they do they find their allies collapsing or already gone, as their enemies stay resolute disput their victory. In Bavaria the wayward King is finally getting his just due for past discretions against fellow Germans, but to the south Austria is falling apart at the seems...

im not a 100% sure on the history but as a german it sounds really odd to me when you use the word germanic instead of german because germanic describes the larger language familiy that really doesnt have a unified cultural identity
Absolutely. In this game I wanted to RP out a situation where Germanic unity is a much bigger deal in th 19th century. The rivalry between Austria and Prussia caused a lot of issues and division within the Germanic nations and peoples, but in this timeline they were allies. In the statement I wrote for the game and manner in which I played in my mind the solidarity of broader Germanic peoples was a bigger thing. Thats why in a few conversations like with the Dutch I explicitely am more friendly and mention the linguistic and historic links. The goal was to have a unified Germanic market/sphere but Austria collapsing and ww1 put a wrench in that.

I mean Austria collapsing after a WW1 would make sense. Even on a winning side, the multiethnic country was simply impossible to survive. Historically the collapse of the Austrian Empire is pinned on losing WW1, but really the events preceding it, as well as the national atmosphere post-Napoleon, would much better explain the situation and ensure that, even if Austrian won that conflict, or a similar one, the country still would have needed to at least federalise.

Older version now it's been really changed up. Plus the Babylon roleplay mod helps auto a bunch of things for you. That's my guess anyways since in this new update I noticed it's alot more effort to get the gdp printing.
