Doug is the type of guy to stalk his old car through Carfax.
😂😂
That is very funny🤣😂👏
I did that with my last car
Clever....it's Doug to a tee
He does lol
Can you imagine buying a car from Doug and then seeing your car ending up on the "Happy to Sell" list
🤣🤣🤣
Lmfaoooo
imagine selling your car to Doug lol
Can you imagine being able to afford a car right now even if you work a full time job......

Love that Doug’s Ford GT is effectively a dog bed lol… Noodle’s got the life 😂
10:31 lol now I get it
what breed does anyone know
Doug's so rich he doesn't care if his dog crawls all over his GT. He bought the GT to enjoy it, not keep it in a bubble and hope it appreciates.
Bearded Collie.
@@chrisp679 He’s an Old English Sheepdog 🐑
Doug, these are the videos that keep us coming back. Your typical videos are great, but these are the videos that remind us that you’re a real person, and that you’re not some surface level online persona. Keep at it Doug. Love the content
I enjoy watching his videos but nothing about this particular video reminds me he is “real person”. If anything him talking of owning a Mercedes,Ferrari,Aston Martin,Lotus etc.. makes him even less relatable.
because nothing screams real person like owning 35 cars since like 2005
@@juusbox bro the reason he’s had so many cars is because of his chosen profession. If Doug was a “normal person” you wouldn’t be on this video commenting
Doug is the type of guy to never really “bond” with his aston martin
Haha good one. But seriously, how can you consider an Aston Martin "not special"???
Oh...MG. we're going to have to call the pun police on that one

Hey Robert you won lol
I've never heard Doug say the word "subscribe" before😂
I mean... at least he did not annoy us with that before.
his content speaks for itself
He needs more subscribers to buy back the 4 cars he regret selling
its so gud as well-especially cuz 98% of all yters beg for ppl to sub
whats up with more doug demouro channel?
I am really impressed by the cars that Doug regrets selling. Loved the fact that he loved his Viper, his Nissan S-Cargo, his Range Rover and his E55 AMG. BTW, Doug should do a video about cars that he intends to buy. It would be AWESOME
this.
yes!
I still can’t imagine Doug even fitting in that Lotus, much less being able to drive it!
I would really like to see what Doug is thinking about buying in the future, not only because it would be entertaining, but we would get to see a little bit more into what Doug does and what he looks for when it comes to buying cars and trucks. However, being the shrewd and savvy guy he is, I kind of doubt Doug would make that video, simply because he knows him talking about them would probably make them increase in value.
I don't think he would willfully and intentionally try to make a car more expensive than it has to be, at least before he buys it.
@@993mike Jeremy Clarkson says he can fit in what he WANTS to fit in
I agree about the Viper. I own a 2008 Viper convertible (GTS Blue w/ Silver racing stripes) & a 2017 Viper ACR-E in a custom ordered Blue w/ white racing stripes & I can’t imagine ever selling either of them. They’re among the most insane & enjoyable cars I’ve ever driven, & are even more special now that manual transmissions & naturally aspirated V10 engines are basically almost dead forever. And that’s not even factoring in that values on all Vipers are skyrocketing, especially on the ACR’s!
🏎💨
My Grandpa had an 08 Dodge Viper Coupe (Not 100% on the year) which is yellow with black stripes, my uncle has it now.
I agree! The prices will continue to rise as we transition into this new era of ev muscle! Hang on to your GTS! I'm hanging onto my SRT10 pickup because I expect the prices for these to catch up to its bigger but smaller brother soon. Especially considering mine is a single cab 6 speed manual. Those who have sold will eternally regret their decision
Cool flex bro
I don’t care what price I have to pay or if i have to sell a rental property to do it, but some day I will own the last gen ACR. I’m a GM guy, but that has to be one of the best front engine, rear wheel drive cars ever made.
Used to seeing your comments on fitness channels, nice surprise!
I’m so glad you mentioned the Viper. I voted for you to buy that one back in the day and I was really excited when you did.
One of my favorite old Doug videos was when he took the Viper out after a big Chicago snow storm. It sounds suicidal , but nope that's just Doug.
I saw a Viper GTS pass my place on the way to work last week, same blue with the white stripes, and I was taken back by how I forgot how absolutely wild these things look in person, more so than most modern super cars I see on occasion. It's exhaust has that magnificent lopey cam sound at idle, a truly special car.
Choppy as hell with straight pipes!
I miss your old videos Doug... the viper at the frozen lake, the trip with the 360 modena, going to NYC with the Hummer and many more, you must return with at least a monthly video like those!!
Really pleased to see your lovely dog lurking in the GT40 too. Interesting to hear your reasons for being attached to cars or otherwise. Thanks.
you're welcome. be sure to check out Caaaaaaaars and Bids.
Gt not gt40
Doug: its not because they´ve gone up in value
also Doug: goes on to mention how all of those cars have now doubled in value
But he did say his Ferrari 360 Modena and Mercedes 500E also shoots up in value but he doesnt regret selling it..
You almost got the quote right
To be fair basically every enthusiast car has gone up in value over the last few years, he could have owned anything cool from that time and it would have doubled in value
To be hones those are kind of lame increases in price anyway (2x), in that time frame he owned his cars, you could have bought a Supra for under 10k, an E30 M3 for like 3k or a 240sx for basically nothing (of course not mint cars, but solid drivers)
He did say that was part of it, just not the main reason, watch the first minute or two again
He said the cars going up in value was part of it but not the main reason
Thank you for adjusting your angle. Seeing more of the plates, and more of the GT is so satisfying. Also, please give your dog some pets from all of us! ❤
I’m happy to see the Escargot made the list. I’m probably the one person who loved seeing the videos of that car.
Me too
Actually, I did, too --- in fact, that was one of my favorite of Doug's car videos :D
Love how your dog is just chilling behind you in the GT 😂 super cute
The idea of Doug stalking his used cars on carfax is funny af to me
Been watching Doug since like 2013-2014 and I can honestly say I was so excited when he got that s-cargo. I’ve always wanted one as a parts runner for the shop.
Used my Elise as a commuter for a few years, and I loved it.
Now it sits with my motorcycles, in the weekend toys corner of my garage. The used market on those is so limited, the price for a clean un-molested car went up quite a bit.
I cant quite think about any replacement that would bring the same amount of stupid fun.
Glad to hear that about the Viper. I’ve always wondered why you got rid of it because I like driving mine so much.
Love how you let your dog in the Ford GT! I think it's funny how you never loved your Vantage, cause I have an '07 6MT and to me it's the best all-around street car I've ever owned. One of my dachshunds, who doesn't usually like car rides, loves the Aston. He hops up onto the parcel shelf all by himself and has the biggest smile you've ever seen riding up there
I actually found your channel researching the S-Cargo and enjoyed all the videos with it. I’m a subscriber ever since 😊
I completely sympathize with you on the S-Cargo. I used to have one as a work car when I was a teenager. I'd go to shooting tournaments, and sell tea and baked goods from the back.
I didn't really know how rare it was until a few years later when a friend of mine was talking about how few of them were made that I regretted selling it.
I love how Doug's dog is just chilling in the GT.
It wasn’t that long ago that he said he loved the Aston Martin and how reliable it it was.
He loves all his cars😁
Interesting….can you find the link to that video ?
@@CJ-rk5eg its the previous one about his cars. All his collections. What he says is that he liked it, it was very important for the channel and it was a good car with a silly warranty. Here he says that he didn't had a special bond with it which is not opposite to it.
I really love these kind of videos. Just Doug hanging out talking about cars. 👍🏼
Surprised to hear about the Elise. I'm middle-aged and I still love little cars that will leave me partially bruised after a cruise.
360 Modena has very comfortable suspension, great handling and have great sound, especially when it’s cabrio and not so expensive to own like modern Ferraris. Like it very much.
good for youu but no one came here hoping for your assessment this isn't the "what does some Russin guy think about the 360" channel
@@slowery43 and no one cares what you think. Its a car channel, he gave his opinion on a car.
Took me a while to notice your doggo chilling in the GT 😂
I love how easy it is for you to put in words what you have in mind
Man I actually love the S-Cargo videos haha. It's the embodiement of the quirky car thing of this channel.
The 360 is incredibly cool, and it’s gorgeous. I love watching your videos with it.
Doug's Hummer squeezing into a garage is meme gold. 🤣👌🏾
I love these sit down videos Doug 🔥🔥
I love your reviews, Doug. You are my only go-to when it comes to choosing a vehicle. Of the vehicles that you regret selling, have you purchased the same vehicle again because you missed it so much?
The way you felt about the Viper is the exact way I feel about my old S2K. Got that car for $5k at a San Diego auction! It was a theft recovery but still a clean title vehicle. After somewhat restoring it and then adding some goodies, I made out decently selling it for $16k in 2018. Today that car would probaby get me 30-35 grand in todays market with its low mileage. Replaced it with a Ram SRT10 6sp single cab that I will never sell! And I have a notebook full of some serious offers lol
Everybody seems to regret selling their S2000.
Don’t sell the ram, those one are getting harder to find
Do not sell that fucking ram
you seem to thhink not only is this your channel but that others wouuld be remotely interested on your story, we're not in the least. Not a sole tuned in here hoping to find out what car El Ray drives and how you feel about it
@@slowery43 I was interested in it, so you're wrong.
w210s super underrated.... simple enough to work on... not too many electronics and came with some cool options (ventilated seats etc)
W210 SUPREMACY!!!
thought i wish they had not used water based paint :(
@@Romanu_Geoge Yeah my W210 E55 is sitting in my garage with rust cancer all over the rear quarters and front fenders sadly. Front coil spring rusted and broke off so it's hard to even drive it now. Getting rid of her soon. Sad ending since she still runs and shifts like new.
@@Stressless2023 sorry to hear that
You should sell the the engine and transmission together though, maybe you'll get more money like that nut that's just a suggestion
the electronics on pre-facelift ones were crap though...
I love the tiny JDM cars...totally feel you on the S-Cargo!
These are the videos I love most from Doug!
Hard to separate cars that you wish you kept for the car itself or the memories you have with them 😊
While I can defintely understand the thoughts and feelings about the Aston.
But for me personally, it was the car (and the unlimited mileage bumper to bumper warranty) that introduced me to your channel. So I will always connect with that car.
Havent owned any of the cars doug mentioned, but you can tell his reasons for regretting selling his cars (or not regretting them) truly comes from him appreciating and using the car to its fullest
The Viper would've complimented the GT very nicely imo. Some of the best if not iconic USDM cars after the Vette.
Dude! The fact that you are not a snobby car enthusiast speaks volumes. There's no one who geeks so much about cars like you do. Keep these videos coming.
Can you make a top 5 (or so) video with the cars you would consider to buy in the near future?
Doug needs to make more videos like this. He's a great story teller.
I watched all the S-Cargo videos!! that thing was so cool! Of course, I'm a van nerd so of course I love that thing, but I was amazed by how quirky and unique it was!
I've not had a lot of cars but I do have one I regret selling. 1999 Passat V6 manual. Amazing car, loved it.
*VR6
@@jonlosito2004 the B5 Passat had two different 6 cylinder engines available, one 2.8l gas engine and a 2.5l diesel, these were both V6 engines. The 5 cylinder was a VR5, but both 6 cylinder engines were regular V6. The previous B4 Passat had two different VR6 engines (a 2.8l and a rarer 2.9l that was only available with Syncro AWD and wagon bodystyle). Both of these engines were thoroughly terrible and should have been canceled halfway through their production.
Mine was the 2.8
Having watched Doug since he’s started his channel, immediately knew e55 was first car he’d mention. So ayeeee, someone test me on Doug trivia lol
I'm surprised to hear that so few people were interested in Doug's Nissan S-Cargo videos; those were actually some of my all-time favorites :D
I feel ya on the 95 RR Classic. I had an 89 RR Classic Hunter Edition....miss that vehicle. Don't think I will ever come across one again.
The cars Doug doesn’t miss getting rid off are all cars I would love to have 😢
Doug is missing his Murano Cabriolet the most. He just didn’t admit it !!!!!
I genuinely wish I had an s-cargo. I don't know how much of an influence Doug had on it but I started loving quirky weird cars and the s-cargo sounds awesome
The dog sitting up at 10:33 in the Ford cracked me up!
I am now convinced Doug is a man of culture for adoring the w210, a car I truly love
363k miles on my 210 e55, best car ever
@@kadenvillanueva I had 840k kilometers on my E220 when I sold it. It sure wasn't as good as a W124 but loved it a lot.
Doug buys the cars we wanna drive😊
Whaaaaat!? The S-cargo is the video that helped me find your channel, and still one of my favorite go-to’s! That car was absolutely amazing, would be really cool to see in real life. It’s different here in the land of F150s.
Fun video, Doug. I like this kind of thinking, I like the approach. I just sold a Model 3 for a half decent profit, not a huge profit. I had a similar thought process.
When I was in middle school, my mom had a 2001 e320 4matic in the same silver color as Doug’s old e55 and I worshiped at the alter of the w210 e55 AMG. Even though I’m not such a Mercedes fanboy anymore I still want one of these someday though now that I’m old enough to drive, they’re becoming expensive to the point where I won’t be able to have one when I finally get a decent job that pays well.
I understand perfectly. My dad had a black '78 Trans-Am he bought just before Smokey and the Bandit came out. I still remember us taking the t-tops off and going for a weekend road trip. He loved that car but a drunk slammed into it while parked. I picked up an identical example about 10 years ago before prices went crazy.
@@nucleargrizzly1776 that’s really cool! I can remember 13 yo me looking at w210 e55s on eBay and the really nice low milage unmodified examples were going for 13k ish. I remember seeming one with just over 100k miles in decent shape for 8k. Nowadays I think they’re more like 10k for a pretty ratty one and 20k for a nice one.
@@jordanseay216 This ridiculous car price bubble has to burst. I've seen it before.
@@nucleargrizzly1776 absolutely. I’m trying to find something reliable with good mpg that has fwd or awd to drive in the snow and everything is nuts. I wanted an 02-06 Toyota Camry i4 but one with 360k miles in ok shape was almost 6 grand. I really want this bobble to burst so I can pick up a reliable daily that I can count on. It sucks so much.
@@jordanseay216 Daily drives from Toyota, Honda, Lexus and Acura have gotten to be unaffordable as daily drivers. Good luck in your quest.
Absolutely agree on the Viper. It's such a good looking muscle car.
I started watching around the time of the Viper GTS. I think the first video Doug uploaded after I subbed was when he took it to Home Depot. Good times.
As a 96 Viper GTS owner, having previously owned an 09 Vantage, I couldnt agree more.
69$ that the car he most regrets selling is the almighty Nissan S-Cargo.
Considering when I looked at the prices when I first saw that video they were normally like a few thousand dollars over like 5,000... And then a couple years later jumped up to like 10 to 15 grand.. ugh I would regret it too.
Because even if you bought one again you still have to pay that 25% chicken tax
Well then you were kind of right
I watched the S Cargo videos. I shared them with my friends and family and loved the jokes with it. That was a fun one. The Viper was the other Doug car that I really enjoyed watching the videos with. The R32 GT-R was what got me into watching the Doug cars, but the S Cargo and the Viper were the cars I really enjoyed watching the videos of. That was a fun time.
I love so much that you allow and encourage your dog to ride/sit in your Ford GT.
Too many people have way lesser cars and would FLIP out at the idea of doing this.
I love the fact your dog is in the Ford GT just chillin’
I never liked the 360 styling in their day, but now I think that they look great.
They have aged really well.
100%! As a teen when the 360 came out, I was so sad that the look of the 355 was gone. But - time has been kind to it - now I love them…!
I felt the same way about the 360, but over the years it kinda just grew on me to the point where I’d think a nice coupe in a nice color looked decent.
I consider it the modern day 308 in terms of looks and affordability.
I really loved this video..your feelings were well expressed. .
I had that AMG for a few years. It felt what perfection in every aspect was like. Life change forced me to sell - and the money helped. Now my lifestyle has changed again, to where I walk to work, rarely drive, and hate driving when I do.
It must've been so cool to own all these cars!
Strangers may sound the only car I regret having to sell was a 2002 Toyota echo it had well over 350,000 miles on it but by the time it got to that I lost a cylinder on the highway transmission was kind of grindy but I was able to limp home.
Sadly at the time I really wasn't that confident in my mechanical skills to rebuild the engine but ended up taking out the transmission and rebuilding it later for another echo we had.
I regret it because I was actually going to turn that thing into a Ute. And before people say that's crazy... There is a guy locally who literally did the same thing with a 90-something Geo Metro....:O
And now that the prices on early 2000's Echos have skyrocketed....🤨
I had to laugh that the Aston Martin was on the list of cars you don't regret. That was the car that initially drove me to your channel and I suppose, due to my James Bond fandom, is the Aston I would want to get some day. But this list is completely subjective as you said. Great to hear the stories behind them all.
Great video. I love the Viper and would regret selling it also. I absolutely love Aston Martins, but have always felt the same as you did about the V8 vantage…just lacks that little bit of what should be special about a car like that.
Doug the kind of guy to read an owner's manual cover to cover on a long haul flight.

Some people stalk their exes, Doug stalks his old cars
I regret:
2003 Cobra - though it had major issues
1993 RX-7 - though it had major issues
Having both of those cars today would have been wild
good for you but no one came here hoping to find out what cars Trent regrets... no one this isn't your channel
Just love your dog just chilling in the Ford GT, so cool 🙂
Super fun video. I dailyed an Elise for 2 years, and the only time it was great was on the track, though mine was very reliable, and given the engineering in the head, I'm surprised. I also was the high bid on a 500E that didn't meet reserve and I had my buddy go drive it to see if I wanted it. His review: "Doesn't feel fast." Sent him a bottle of bourbon.
Doug’s the type of person to miss the smell of a car 😂
If you ever owned a merc you know, you just know
You’ve never owned an older Mercedes’ with leather interior , it’s just sooooo good .
Doug is the kind of guy to tell his car "I love you, I'm just not in love with you"
big fail on trying to be funny there Lemo
The Viper is hands down the coolest car you've owned, I'd take it over all the others.
I’ve owned over 80 cars and my car history is not that different from Doug’s. I thought his review and reasons for wanting to keep or not keep we’re pretty spot on. I’m not a Land Rover fan and I would never buy one of the Nissan vans but his experiences are similar to mine. Great video!!
I miss the “Doug Car” days, I really enjoyed watching the quirky car shenanigans. I loved the Viper videos.
To summarize: Im up now and could afford the maintenance i couldn't before.
Love your videos Mr. DeMuro.
I'm not surprised one bit that you don't regret selling the Ferrari 360 Modena. I didn't when I sold mine. With the 360, Ferrari still hasn't worked out correct driving ergonomics (you're legs still pointed slightly towards the centre of the vehicle). My regret is trading-in my excellent original condition 1997 Honda NSX for one. I still miss my NSX.
These past few days watching my crypto portfolio decline is very disheartening. Holding doesn't really profit much. Any ideas on how to earn better on the short run?
Short term trading is much preferable considering the current market fluctuations.
These are what beginners do think, me to I used to think the same way...Thank God I met Mr Tom Hutchinson ...he helped me in trading and inculcate how the market works..
