American friends perform 'Dalabengba' with guitarist Miumiu

JJ and Nancy from America are joined by 7-year-old Chinese guitarist Miumiu, as the trio performed "Dalabengba," a Chinese song that tells a story of a hero fighting against a dragon. "There were not only beautiful highlands in western Sichuan, but also mysterious folklore. I've always wanted to bring my guitar to Ganzi and sing for everyone," said Miumiu. Though music is largely regarded as a universal language, singing the tune could pose a challenge for anyone who isn't fluent in Chinese. But hey, that doesn't mean we shouldn't give it a shot! #MusicVoyage

Yes, Zhou Shen's version is really insane. But this version is really funny. The lyrics are also different from the standard RPG game (Zhou Shen's) version. The story is more relevant to today's China with villagers being attacked by "bad guys". The name of the villain is also really funny, even the heroine's name is hilarious! Some of the notable differences are: King was replaced by village Elder, Princess was replaced by missing farm animals. The dragon perhaps is just some thief who stole the animals (who somehow has such a hilarious name if you know a bit of the Chinese language). The baby in Zhou Shen's version is now a baby yak by the name of Miu Miu... just incredible!
