That hatrick he scored against Villa was the coldest I've ever been at a football match was bloody freezing that night. Love Marlon for scoring the only goal in the FA Cup semi final right in front of us was a amazing day. If he didn't get that foot injury in the final we would have won it ⚒👍
Harewood brought me some of my best early west ham memories. 89th min vs Arsenal. FA Cup semi final, play offs. We've still not had a player score more in a single season in the prem since.
Always loved Marlon, was gutted when he left forest. Right handful, pace powers bit raw at times but very underrated player. Scored a few worldies as well.

Marlons a top lad.....great player and person.....he played for and run a non league club in nottingham a few years ago, my local team played them and he was class on and off the pitch and really made a fuss of everyone after as we all did him #NFFC
Feed the Hare and he will score! What a sound bloke Marlon is. Will never forget Reading away 2008ish when he came on as sub and scored a worldie to seal the win. As a Villa fan been a lot of our ex players on recently, but then again feels like every fucker has been at Villa at some point or another! Great listen, great pod as always fellas. Best thing on CZcams.

Thank you so much for posting this, great to see him fit and Happy! As a West Ham fan, I'll never forget his '86 season, shaved head, 15 Stone forward, two step run up for penalties...and the ball came off his foot like cannonshot! Hattrick against Villa, and he nearly sunk Liverpool in the FA CUP Final! One of my favorite players, and just quietly, I think he should have been in an England shirt in a World Cup...used hs muscle in the penalty box! (Like him far more than Emile Heskey). CHEERS LADS, and wish Marlon all the best!!! 👏👏👏👏☝

He was one of those players that for me, I sometimes wonder how he was ever a footballer but still had a lot of love for him. Never heard anything bad about him and, regardless of how good he was, managed to carve out a career in the premier league.

I met Marlon in Barbados years ago, a long long time ago he told me and my cousin he was a footballer and we didn’t completely believe him fast forwards a few years and he joined my beloved West Ham! Club rockley hotel

Your tangent about Gerrard "winning fuck all at Liverpool" is ridiculous, comparing him to Harry Kane at Spurs. Gerrard won the Champion's League, FA Cup twice, League Cup 3 times, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Community Shield. The only thing he didn't win was the Premiership and admittedly Liverpool just weren't good enough to win the league when he was there, although we come pretty close on a few occasions.
