    Dutchsta, just either get some leadcore leaders or silicone leaders, go for top names such as Korda, ESP or Fox. The line is use is Korda Adrenaline because of it's rigidity and it's diameter, while you get the strength of the line, you get the diameter of 0.35 mm, which is just like having 10lb line, you must remember that the 18lb adrenaline can hold much more than that in water as it stretches.
    The best thing to do is to get the silicone leader, as many places don't like leadcore anymore be

    Hi i just started Carp fishing about 2 weeks ago and got my first ever carp ( 20 lbs ) atm i have:
    Main line: 30/100 ( some sort of new line and is stronger then normal nylon )
    ------mainline-------=======tube+mounted+Lead===0-turnbuckel-0 & ready-made cast
    Can you give me some pointers on how i can improve this perhaps? The carp i caught went on going into the Water Lily's and was a night mare getting out and i was scared the cast would snap from my main line.
    Thank you

    1:31 thats not a blood knot `the blood knot is for attaching to lines together thats a clinch knot.
