- Here's an early look at some WWE 2K22 gameplay in the new action-packed trailer. Featuring several WWE superstars including cover star Rey Mysterio, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, The Undertaker, and more, the new WWE 2K222 gameplay trailer showcases WWE 2K22's redesigned gameplay engine and new animations. Some character models are amazingly detailed. Some are like going back in time to 2013, especially the long hair. But this trailer showed nothing that anyone didnt already expect from a WWE game.
Charlotte looks like a mess.
Hair needs a massive improvement. The tech is out there, just look at Tomb Raider

This is not a gameplay trailer.... the fact that the game releases in March and there is no actual gameplay footage is a huge red flag.
You clearly don't know the difference between prerendered and gameplay. This was mostly gameplay with cinematic camera angles but still running "IN ENGINE" not prerendered.
@Jake Jutras 3 second clips should not be considered gameplay. We have no idea based on this trailer how the game is going to run. There's massive red flags all over this release.

The lack of gameplay leads me to believe that they don't have confidence in the product they're putting out.This is becoming more and more like 2k20s release where it's come out broken and they're gonna hope it can be patched later.
Doubt it. Anything remotely better than 2K20 will bound to be successful.
or haters are just downplaying what is clearly looking better than its predecessor? even the devs know people will know the truth of the gameplay and stuff after launch. The antifans really are trying hard to derail this game. instead of pessimistic, at least have a neutral stance until the the launch version can be examined. no one has to poreder/purchase it, they can check gameplay videos after launch instead of being downers.
Looks like a remaster more than a current gen game, characters movement still looks so robotic
You have to wait until the game's no longer playable on the last gen. Then, the quality of the higher-end machines don't get dragged down to 2013's hardware standards.

Cinematic gameplay isn't gameplay it has cuts, edits, designed to look pretty.. when we say gameplay we mean gameplay with the hub on in real time for so after 2k20 and not mention the sister company messing up GTA TRILOGY was as unplayable as wwe 2k20

its common sense to youtube post launch gameplay videos before determining whether to get it. Some people set their expectations too high. and some are too pessimistic. and those that are too confident and get upset afterwards have themselves to blame not examining it after launch in videos to see if its right for them. Also wasn't the previous game a plushies game? that really doesn't count.
With getting rid of most of the roster it’s starting to look pretty thin.

False advertising. This is not gameplay. Gameplay = a full match, a walk-though, a deep dive into the mechanics, etc.

It don’t hit different if you continue just to show super animated non-gameplay sections of the game in the trailers.
Every grapple, signature finisher reversal are basically mini cutscenes in the game where all you do is initiate them and thats it.
How does this show me an improvement. Continue showing us the wrestlers that have had their face scanned for the game and specifically designed to match them in real life, yet most the player base want to play with custom characters?. Its looks cleaner and shiner but thats it
From what was shown of Sasha, we can suppose the move sets are wrong

Mate it looks exactly the same. Yeah it might not have the bugs of 2k20 but the gameplay and animations are clearly 100% the same. A closer camera angle and some changed controls aren’t hitting different

Haven't even played a WWE title since 2007 on PS3. Amazes me how the graphics and gameplay hasn't drawn me in 1 bit.

That Ladder animation when you hit someone with it…just doesnt look right. and its been the same since like 2013 or so. one thing that made me happy is seeing not just one rey mysterio attire and new eddie Guerrero look
It also looks like the reversal animation for the pipe and the steel chair are exactly the same as the ones we've had for the last four or five games.

nope, the majority of pro wrestling fans have higher standards than those games, otherwise no one would purchase wrestling games after the PS2 era. HCTP and past gen games rosters and graphics are obsolete.

Of course graphically it’s better the graphics of games are not in question but the companies that release them are pure anti consumerist, my evidence being most of the games released never take into account that their community is their equity and we get same old or worse each time

This is the only game in the coming months I'm excited for. Not Horizon, Not Dying Light 2, or Elden Ring just this game.
