      Extender location is the primary key to getting the best signal quality and most distance out of any extender. You might experience interference problems, for example: thick walls or floors, other electronic equipment or extender might be to far away from router...etc. Test until you find the best sweet spot somewhere mid way between your Primary Router and your Wifi device connecting to the extender. This will give you the best consistently solid signal quality from the extender.

Taking the time to do such a thing for one of his NOW followers is a rare experience for yours truly here. As I responded back to his reply to my comment, I STILL would have liked to have seen the before/after results, or at least been told the differences. However, I now have a much better understanding as to why he did not provide that information.

    • @nickscomputerfix
      @nickscomputerfix  Před 3 lety +3

      I didn't show results intentionally. Why? Because they are virtually different for everyone. Here's the reason in a nutshell: Extender location is the primary key to getting the best signal quality, speed and most distance out of any extender not just this one. You might experience interference problems, cut offs, signal drops, low speeds: because of thick walls, floors, house construction materials used, metal roofs, non metal roofs, neighbors wifi channel overpowering your extenders network connectivity, other electronic equipment or extender might be to far away from router...etc. With any extender you will need to test best placement location until you find the best sweet spot somewhere mid way between your Primary Router and your Wifi device connecting to the extender. This will give you the best consistently solid speed and strongest signal quality from the extender to your wifi device.
