I was watching you a long time ago planning a trip to Disney then I had emergency surgery on my spine was paralyzed and can hardly move without going temporarily blind It took three years of trying to fix and two years of physical therapy I’m not fully healed I’ll never be but I’m finally in good enough condition to go just in time for my thirtieth birthday in October and I’m so excited to go and finally experience Disney.
I had the old 90s version, played with it til it broke, fixed it, broke it again, fixed it, broke it clean in two. Best toy!

Lol I guess I am guilty that it is my all-time favorite. After I noticed, I had four or five different versions of them I decided to just start collecting. Ha ha I I don’t really have many other duplicates of any other design 🤷
Luke's Lightsaber from ROTJ is my personal favorite Lightsaber in Star Wars history. I had the Power of the Force Lightsaber when I was a kid and now I have the Legacy version. The Galaxy's Edge version is my favorite.

I have the one that came out before the black series force fx one. it was called the ulitmate fx saber and was pretty much the same as the force fx one but it had flash on clash. looks like they kept the same shell for a long time if ones like that were coming out in 2015!

Is the one on the link the same as yours? Or maybe it got discontinued bc I can't find any that looks as dark as the one you have at least by the pictures they have on the website

so, i bought a lsw lightsaber from amazon, and its actually pretty nice quality for 150, smooth swing, class, different sound fonts and colors, feels great
I got a POTF2 Luke Skywalker electronic lightsaber brand new in the box for $30. Since I have two of them, I made my other one into Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lightsaber from a New Hope.

My dark wolf sabers Luke Skywalker return of the Jedi neopixel Luke legacy v4 thin neck lightsaber has four sound fonts like the return, the rescue, grogu's master, and the grumpy uncle.

Another great video from Obi-dad! Bro, I had no idea you had so many Luke sabers, so cool. The Black series used to have more accurate sound effects when previously made by Master Replicas( mines got a 2005 stamp on it.) The 1995 one I have also, they used to be $20. The Disney version i got in 2021 when they were $129. Lets see, ive got a Xenopixel LGT, a base lit TXQ, and my top tier is the 89sabers Luke ROTJ. SO im hot on your heels with 6 Luke ROTJ sabers. Ive noticed you don't have any 89sabers, I highly recommend them, heres why. The 89 sabers have 3d printed removable cores, 2 types. A shorter one and a longer one. Heres the good part. I picked up a new chassis for my first 2 89sabers, because they didn't have many fonts on them. In late 2022, 89 upgraded to 40+ fonts. Once you have the chassis, which is universal on the 89sabers series, tou can just buy the empty hilt and put your removable chassis in it.( I found this out after buying 4 different 89sabers.) Even fully loaded, they're around $500, and very screen accurate. So, i concede, you have me beat in saber collecting w Luke ROTJ, but i have around 50 sabers overall. I throw the gauntlet down sir, whats your count? ( totally joking) anyhow, check your Instagram, I posted some pic of my self and the family so you could finally put the face with the name, AND I sent you pics of almost my entire collection. @@FindingTheForce I really like the TXQ darker ROTJ Saber, especially the first run. They were darker with a brown piece below the emitter. Now they're getting lighter colored and putting the bronze piece back on.
What best one buy in your opinion
Pulling the trigger on the Luke (ROTJ) saber, however, I cant decide which company to purchase from - Vader's Sabers or Art Sabers. Who has the better quality saber? Can someone help direct me? yes, I am newb.
I believe the Power of the Force Luke lightsaber was already under Hasbro not Kenner. Great lightsaber by the way. They eventually made a bunch of them when the prequels came around.
My Inner Child's imagination, says:
- when the lightsaber is still and activated, there is a small constant vibration felt in the hilt, matching the hum - enough to notice when you first switch it on - but quickly becomes unnoticed (unless you pay attention to it) then,
- when you swing it, the vibration smoothly increases, matching the change in sound, eventually leveling off no matter how fast you swing it.
I'd _nearly_ give my left testicle for one that fulfilled my imagination. I think it's possible with enough iterations if built by someone I could meet and test-out each one until it's right.
That's very awesome obi-dad cool collection your video reminded me that I myself don't own a very good luke skywalker lightsaber I mean I do own two blade builder lightsaber toys but that's it because as you said disney hasn't made a new luke skywalker lightsaber design with a better thin neck I wish I had one for my collection but still very awesome, and are you going to buy the new luke skywalker lightsaber that they have on Vader sabers it's looks very good

Would you recommend Neopixel overall? There’s a lot of quality sabers around. I’ve always gone with Force FX or Galaxy’s Edge however I reckon it’s time to just invest in a higher quality standard one. Luke’s ROTJ will always be my favourite followed closely by the Graflex. I’m not proposing to get neopixel in terms of others but I’d be happy to splash out on ROTJ ……. albeit I can’t guarantee this 😅🤣! The missus understands that’s all that matters. Great video pal 🤙🏻
Is there a difference between the Luke Skywalker hilt that you can buy in the park and the Luke Skywalker 40th anniversary black box set that you can buy on shop Disney? I want to get Luke’s lightsaber but I don’t need another blade if there is no difference. Same question about Darth Vader’s hilt vs the box set.
Hey Michael, that’s a great question. It is the exact same hilt that came out on opening day. I think Disney is just trying to be nice and make it a box set for people who are buying their first Sabers. 👍🏻

Question: I want to start collecting Replica Sabers. If you had to choose 1 company to buy from, what would it be? I was gonna collect the Legacy Lightsabers, but I couldn't get over how girthy and thick they were. What company has the best looking Sabers, and the widest variety of characters? I personally do not care for sounds.

My favorite 3 all-time saber designs are;
1 = Cal Kestis (Yes yes everyone I know it was Jaro Tapal’s first lol)
2 = Luke Skywalker (ROTJ)
3 = Anakin Skywalker (sure some refer to it as “the skywalker saber”, but to me it’s Anakin’s)

🤷🏼♂️ I think it’s the same audio I always use. It’s not perfect, but I like standing up and not being tied down to a desk. Ha ha I turn off my audio software when I demo the Sabers so you can get a better idea of the Truesound.

Well the fact is Luke owns a ghost Lynette crystal which means the blades should be a lot quieter but just with the hum
