  • Philosophy of biology has two sides: the process of science and the content of biology. We address key questions. What is the nature of life? How does evolution work and what are its challenges? How to consider race, sex/gender, cognition, culture, morality, healthcare, religion, alien life and alien intelligences.
Featuring interviews with Michael Ruse, Elliot Sober, Elisabeth Lloyd, Peter Godfrey-Smith, John Dupré, Paul Griffiths, Richard Dawkins, Josh Swamidass, Quayshawn Nigel Julian Spencer, Denis Noble, Alexander Rosenberg, Samir Okasha, Massimo Pigliucci, Alan Love, and Philip Kitcher.

As a mycologist and ecologist, I recommend covering:
    1. Mycelial networks as “the internet of a forest” and similarities to neural networks. Interconnectedness of life. Gaia Hypothesis.
    2. Plant behavior considered on longer time scales. How plants sense, react, and communicate. Do new findings on plant communication and other behaviors raise bioethics considerations?
    4. Bioethics. Big topic with many branches. Animal treatment in studies, use of modified crops, livestock cloning, etc. AI in healthcare, gene editing treatments, bioprinting, RNA based vaccines, many others.
    5. Taxonomic concepts; human attempts to categorize life. Updating taxonomy based on phylogenic studies. How new understandings of evolutionary history affect how we see life and our place in it.
    6. Ethical considerations on how we interact with the natural world. Religious approaches to stewardship of the biosphere. Jainism.
Edit - oops, after visiting the website, now I see you are covering or have covered many of these topics.

first and foremost, trully and sincerely happy that Dr. Robert Lawrence Kuhn journey continues, so, in a personal sense, i dont feel alone in my own pursuit of understanding the hows and even whys, specially about consciousness, innerself, sheer existence. because all I know its, I exist and i am real. this fourth pilar it is linked to that, same as the origin and nature of the universe and all the laws and branches of science that tries to explain why and how there's not nothing and why and how and what it means to be conscious. I am eager to continue the journey guided by Closer to truth, because every hint of an explanation will open the door of a new question so this quest it's most likely one for a lifetime, mine for sure. You'd probably never know how much your own quest means for others. Thank you Dr Kuhn.

I had to look up "cohesion metaphysics." I didn't find any exact hits but did read a bit about "coherence theory of truth." The site I was reading seemed to be taking a long and scenic journey with no actual destination so I gave up after a few pages of circling the same block over and over.
But I do look forward to this fourth pillar as I've had a lifelong fascination with biology.

Coherence theory is opposed to classical foundationalism.
The idea is how to justify knowledge, among other things.
In coherence theory, one’s worldview would have all sorts of transcendental categories they use - logic, numbers, the self, identity over time, the external world, universals, this sort of thing. So how do your justification of these things cohere with each other, with your life, with your view of reality, etc?
      Is it consistent and coherent?
For instance, one might think themselves to be a “skeptic” for instance perhaps they’re an atheist. Maybe they demand a high level of evidence to believe. Wait a minute, how do you justify logic? What evidence? And so forth? Is your worldview coherent?
      See?
Classical foundationalism will base their worldview on fundamental axiomatic type beliefs and build up from there.
