My mom just got a 2023 Summit and the interior is phenomenal. I didn’t love the exterior look when I first saw the release but after seeing it in person it looks great.
I custom ordered a 2023 ~ I have similar summit reserve L build with the v8 5.7 I’ve had mine for about 1 year now and love it . I was told I am the first to get the 2023 with v8 .. I traded a 2022 overland v6 because it was underpowered .. I opted for the 60/40 second row seat that was $700 up charge . It would be nice if the surround cameras had a record feature. The piano gloss trim is a bad idea and shows all scratches It is worth more than it cost, it’s more luxury and better infotainment and night vision than More expensive vehicles
I agree with you regarding the piano black but I keep mine open all the time so its not really an issue. I have a 2024 GC Summit (not the L) and so far I really like it but I've only had it for 3 days. I had a 2019 WK2 Limited and gave it to my daughter. Its been a great SUV. Perfect size which is why I bought a new one. Lots of new tech so crossing my fingers there is no serious issues.
your reviews are freakin awesome, keep up the great work brother and thank you! This jeep is perfect, saving up for this but will most likely go Overland trim instead of Summit, let alone Reserve. Again thank you love your channel
I just ordered a summit reserve in white with the same options + rear entertainment. After watching your video I’m glad I ordered the high altitude package without seeing it in person. Sucks they have been deleting the limited slip option and only giving a $400 credit.
Absolutely, the High Altitude is 🔥 and the only way I would get one and I cant believe they let you get a saddle interior which looks great with the exterior. Hopefully factory orders don’t delete the LSD 🤞
If u get all of that Summit reserve and High Altitude package u should automatically get the rear seat entertainment system but even with those packages u still have to order it
Hi JB Reviews. Good review and tour video of the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve High Altitude trim. The body color goes with the wheels. I have the same 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim. Mine also has the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine this has. Only differences are mine has the Diamond Black Crystal Pearl color (I initially wanted the Midnight Sky Blue color, but the dealership and neighboring dealerships didn't have it), mine isn't the High Altitude, mine doesn't have the running boards and doesn't have the mud flaps. At the time I could've gotten it with the running boards and mud flaps, but I said I don't need those two because someone who is 5'9" tall doesn't need running boards to get into a mid-size SUV. Someone who is 5'5" or shorter will need the running boards. The running boards are definitely needed for full-size SUVs though. Yep. The way the running boards are concealed on the Grand Wagoneer is nice. It just comes down right when you need it when the door opens which is great! Then, goes back up when the door closes. Glad they didn't make it fixed in like certain models of the Grand Cherokee. Another reason I wouldn't need the running boards for my Jeep Grand Cherokee L is because depending on the scenario the running boards will affect the capability of the vehicle when going through certain areas. Not all areas, but certain ones. Same can be said for the mud flaps too. I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim. Nice and comfy features as well as a good performing engine. Those will give vehicles like the Audi Q7, Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60, Cadillac XT6 and Volvo XC90 a run for their money. Not a lot of Jeep Grand Cherokee L owners or owners of the regular Grand Cherokee know this, but the background color for the infotainment screen can be changed. It can be changed to a slight darker tone to give better viewing. That's what I did with mine. When you get the chance check out the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It's nice.
Yea that’s silly although I’m sure next year it will be available because the 2 row came out a year later. Lately I think Stellantis has been doing that on purpose to get people to trade up every year… it’s not a bad ideas lol 👍🏾
I ain’t going to lie this is one sweet soccer mom ride! But, you’re telling me they will raise the GVWR for the engine in an SUV but not in a pick up! 🤦♂️Come on man!
Just took possession of the Summit 2 days ago. I had a 2019 Limited and it was fantastic (gave it to my daughter). For what we pay for these luxury versions they should be reliable. Its a year later, have you had many issues?
The list of features are impressive, and against luxury brands I agree much better $. I guess if I was going that high I would choose this over the competitors, but I don’t need the prestige of driving one, and there are cheaper and lessor options better at transporting people and things.
Over 80 grand out the door for 360 horsepower dinosaur hemi v8. Hard Pass. So luxurious. LOL, Might as well get the X5 M50i When you're playing with that kind of money. Over 500 horses and it's a BMW. 80 grand plus non srt JEEP. ,,, Yikes
Yes, I have a 2020 GC High Altutude with 5.7 and every option except the rear seat screens and the MSRP was $58k (I got it for $51k). The prices of these and now the V8 is gone leaving the hybrid and V6 only. Not interested.
Dude that BMW has the WORST resale value in the industry and reliability is awful. Plus the back seat has very little leg room. Yeah its fast. Oh boy! LMAO!!

I'm waiting for the Summit Reserve High Altitude Autobiography.......now that's impressive
I drove the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee l this baby drove so smooth and the radio sounds system sounds really great

I own the Summit and saw the Overland. Not much of a difference. Its just as beautiful as the Summit.
I want this one, but with the TVs in the back for my kids!!
Facts getting dat 🙌🏽

The interior trim IS real wood. Nice review!
I love it also. It’s odd that same high altitude package isn’t available for the 2 row version however unless it’s the 4xe version
Yea that’s silly although I’m sure next year it will be available because the 2 row came out a year later. Lately I think Stellantis has been doing that on purpose to get people to trade up every year… it’s not a bad ideas lol 👍🏾
Which is why I might PASS on replacing my 2015 WK.
@@Snapper314 I own a 2019 WK2 and just bought a new Summit. Its a big upgrade. The price has increased quite a bit too.
Why would they get rid of the limited slip diff ?
I have the 2022 Overland 5.7 with all of these options, love it!
Does it have a fast acceleration/power? the 5.7
Is there a zero to 60 speed test video on this hemi?
Just purchased a red one, amazing!
Looks like a budget range rover. I dig it
It really does and having the V8 makes the price point make sense 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork yeah that 5.7 would be nice for a travel trailer
At over 80K out the door for this Jeep you might as well spend a little more and get the Rover
@@Alwaysbeclosing1774 The Rover is one of the, if not the most unreliable vehicles on the road.
Mine is white I still haven’t seen anyone with it I’ve blacked out all of the windows
I haven’t seen that either! I’m looking for that! Lol
I was waiting for a Trailhawk Ecodiesel, but Jeep didn't want my money.
Nope. It's only going to be available as a plug in hybrid. 👎
I ain’t going to lie this is one sweet soccer mom ride! But, you’re telling me they will raise the GVWR for the engine in an SUV but not in a pick up! 🤦♂️Come on man!
The GVWR relates to engine, or the entire chassis? Can't compare apples to pears...
You mention cooled seats but I think they are actually vented..big difference..I think the Hyundai SUV has actual cooled seats
They are vented AND cooled
How did you get the 5.7 hemi? It doesn't show for me when I try to build it
You have to build it on a overland and up trim level
Part of the 25u package.
is the Paint Protection Film only covering a small portion of the hood and nothing on the bumper?
That is correct
Great video like always. Very disappointed in our three week old 2023 GCL Overland. Been in the shop for over a week with no end in sight.
That stinks, hopefully they get it squared away 👍🏾
These new models are hit or miss I’ve had my summit 2023 two row for a month with zero issues
That sucks. Mine has 10k miles (2021 with the v8) - zero problems.
Just took possession of the Summit 2 days ago. I had a 2019 Limited and it was fantastic (gave it to my daughter). For what we pay for these luxury versions they should be reliable. Its a year later, have you had many issues?
Is there sale in Thailand
🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍
Lol! This was the best I’ve seen so far! Thanks for sharing Randy 👍🏾👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork All Time FAVORITE!!!😍💯
Thanks bro 👍🏾👍🏾
How big is the gas tank.
Pretty big
For the next jeep they should change all the piano black to a different material
$79k for a Grand Cherokee?? Yikes.
Better than Bmw or Mercedes imo.
@@JS-cz6cj much better

for 79k that wood should have been real teak.
It is real. Not sure why he thought it wasn't because its obvious it is real.
It’s still gonna have Hemi problems
Here's a cookie. Thanks for coming.
2023 and still sitting at 17mpg that's terrible.
It's a naturally aspirated V8. They're gas hogs.
They meant for towing and doing things CUVs can't do.

LOL ! And then you're stuck with a BMW. Hard pass
@@tedlulis973 LOL and then your 80K snail mail jeep is worth 35k in three years.
Lol! And the BMW is worth about 25 grand. And you can't even sell it because nobody wants an old wore out German car
Dude that BMW has the WORST resale value in the industry and reliability is awful. Plus the back seat has very little leg room. Yeah its fast. Oh boy! LMAO!!
😂 13k in options after a terrible MSRP already.
