i can imagine remote controling the turret and not firing to trick raiders to think its drained, then destroying them while they pass
The turret control thing even though it does fog out beyond a certain distance; that distance is still further than turrets can naturally agro from. So if you take control of a turret that enemies think they're a safe enough distance away from; you can still fire at them which would of course be a big surprise.
It could also be a way to trigger a stability trap; have them walk into an area; take control of a hidden turret beneath their feet - shoot out the twig support and then rain hell onto them as they fall into the pit. It definitely isn't going to have wide reaching uses, but it still has some uses as I think I've illustrated.

Dude the fact that you can 'be' in any location on the map now... NUTS!! Can you imagine the implication of the drone??
The controlled auto turret feature is fantastic. Yeah, there are a lot of possibilities:
- Build 1x1 somewhere and safety shoot players for fun and for loot profit.
- Defend your base during a raid. If you are sh*t at PVP, you will still have a chance to do something.
- And more...
While this sounds OP, if the turret range is limited (same) as in the default AI auto mode, it's OK.
The pross is that you can do 360C rotations and, most importantly, USE YOUR EYES. If the stupid turret can be tricked and destroyed because it's blind/stupid sometimes and can't detect you, when controlled by a real player, you won't be able to peek into the damn corner so quickly or sneak behind it.
You can place radio detonator before on the bottom of drones. That gives a new meaning to roof camping. 🤟
the CCTV camera can, not only be placed on roofs but on and bottom surfaces like the top of doorframes and such as long as its the bottom of the top section
i think player autoturrets could be useful because in a raid you could have turrets in the compound that dont see the raiders because of the 180* fov but then you suddenly rc it and bang out the raiders.

For sure turret is OP shooting 3x - 4x the normal distance, while sitting in a base protected is pure cheese.
Also do turrets shoot drones? cause a clan can just sit around your base and making constant buzzing sounds for lols until you log to offline.

Question, will turrets shoot drones? I saw a rustshorts clip by templetaps whereby he sticks a couple of c4s onto a drone. If that drone were to infiltrate and fly into enemy tc etc....

when in a raid you can use your cctv to see where they are the drone to check for damages/breaches and the turret to kill or keep them back from your base this gonna be op

Imagine they added Rust+ integration. Survey the areas in and around your base, or even defend a raid without ever needing to log in.
how could you render rust as a game on your phone. that’s the only way it would be possible
@@bumbaboy9407 I suppose you're right but it would technically be possible via streaming, like the way services like Google Stadia did it. Have the rendering done remotely on another machine then stream the video output to your device. However, such a thing would be too costly for it to be free and if they charged money for it it'd be considered P2W.

I like everything but the drone. Last thing I need as a solo is a clan, putting drones on every recycler then killing you when you leave the safe zone.
I suspect if one has turrets having a computer station is going to be a requirement. I can't see why anyone would put them up without one.

Don't set a frequency for your turrets. Problem solved.
All these things in the updates are sick but realistically clans are mainly benefiting

@@Shahaan77 You missed the other guys point completely. Literally, no matter what, without exception, anything they add to the game that benefits a solo will also in turn benefit a group of players. There's absolutely nothing that can be done about it. If you want the same benefits a clan has, just join a clan.
