Enjoy The Video! - Hry
I love this. Never seen that queen trap before. And your personality makes the video 10x better
thank you v much ❤
Fr
1:53 this worked so well for me. they didn't suspect anything and then they lost their queen afterwards
I've been using this ever since I watched this video when it first came out. Works almost every time
This video is really good for us normally 1200 1300 players. Joy to watch! Make them more like this. I subbed!
thank you Jeroen

Learning to counter early queen attacks at 1200 and 1300 range???
Disgrace to all >1000 players fr
☠️☠️☠️
You are 1200 - 1300 rapid.
Who is scholar's mating at 1200?
As a 2177 rapid who has been playing the wayward queen against 1... e5 since 2000 elo back in November last year, nobody knew this trap to play against me but when I watched GM Igor Smirnov's video on this trap, I realised that if somebody knew what to do, they could easy crush me, so I adjusted my repertoire to account for this by playing 7. Nc3 instead of 7. Bg5 so there is no option to play d5 anymore. I love it whenever I see any videos on this lines. Great video.
I usually see your videos when scrolling through shorts. I love the brilliant endgame studies. Definitely a well earnt subscription.
thank you very much! i will plan to analyse the Nc3 line as well soon 👌🏻
thanks sir@@chessscape
First off, I really enjoy your enthusiasm in these videos! Contagious almost. I have a similar knack for endgame studies and delving into positions, but couldn't deliver it like this.
As for the content, I have some lines to add. I just play 2....Nf6 against both moves. In fact, lately it's been my main second move in King's Pawn anyway. Saves a lot of theory :>
In the Bishop's Opening (1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nf6) this invites the Urusov with 3.d4 exd4 4.Nf3 which I decline with 4....Nc6 transposing into the well playable Two Knights for Black. A few club members enjoy the Urusov, yet don't know how to play the Two Knights well.
Against the Wayward Queen it's a lot more aggressive: 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 Nf6!? It's somewhat disrespectfully called the Kiddie Counterattack as it 'just' surrenders a pawn. Not something I'd necessarily recommend, but it plays very chill for Black actually: 3.Qxe5+ Be7 followed with 4....Nc6 and Black develops like crazy, with an awkward White queen on f4 (usually). Mind, it is better for White, so only play this line if you are a gambiteer.
My issue is that people always open with the queen first. It's so aggrivating
I agree
protect your pawn with Nc6, they'll bring out the bishop and you're in the same position
I’m 1100 and people still try to checkmate me with that stupid trick.
Stop flexing ur elo
1100 is average mate.
@@thenomads8470 ok noob
Love your commentary man! Could listen to it for hours. Hope your channel continues to grow
thank you so much. It means a lot to me, especially right now where i m at in my life..
@@chessscape oh no, that’s not good to hear :/. if you need any help, feel free to reach out.
Chesscape I’m sorry to hear that. I wonder what’s happening.
@@jonathancauley5345 Morning Jonathan, we all have our struggles, life is not easy for everyone. I don’t want to make it about me. People everywhere have way bigger struggles than mine. I appreciate you asking 🙏🏼
@@chessscape true we all do and your very welcome.
2:36 hahaha youre right there!🗿
Wow, I love this. Saving it and going to re-watch until I know it. Thanks so much, this is really great 😎👍
I really love your videos and I get lots of tips. Thanks!!
thx!
Happy that you explained all the possibilities. Thanks
"family fork" lmao.
im so blessed i have not had many people testing my chess skills with the scholars checkmate. my main problem in chess is when i get around to the mid game i struggle to comprehend what is going on.. eg.. i sometimes blunder pieces because i dont realise that they were defending something, eg my queen is pretty common. and then the opponent takes then im just🗿
Learned a lot. Also, fun video, my brother!
You're awesome, man!
wow i like how you explain it, simple and easy.
That was a great vid thanks very helpful I subscribed and liked and will continue watching :D
thank you v much
"I'm pretty sure you are not capable of winning a piece up." This cut deep
Love this. Scholar's mate can be so annoying.
As a beginner 1500 blitz rated this really helped me thank you
I loved this one and more specifically your narating
Your videos are really good
This guy is a great and charismatic teacher
1:20 - Hey, you can put bishop on e5, and if bishop kill bishop, queen can go on e4, because rook don't target queen anymore, and same if you put knight on e5
WEAK moves!
I love it. YoU make real game in story telling. Easy to remember though story line. 😏🤗🤔
Funny guy! 😂 Like it! 👍
the pawn sacrifice against the napoleon attack is really nice... especially since its like a Rousseau gambit which is my favorite gambit as black
I love the way you say "push!"
I am rated 1239, and still going up… Recently the analysis said I played like 1700 player 😂💪
keep studying the game 👊🏻
Im a 400 and it said i played like a 1300
Where and how to you analyze your game?
Great video!
New subscriber!
thx!
Great!
Thank you thank you thank you
Clicked for the thumbnail stayed for the funny character swaps
happy you liked it 😍
You play chess?
Banana mann
Will you consider making a video about italian rousseau gambit i lov that opening :d
sure 😊
Igor Smirnov had covered the same subject on his Remote Chess Academy channel a few months earlier, but his included some other variations. Neither of you covered the possibility of white responding to h6 by taking the knight.
this is the most chill chess teacher.
Brooo your talking and personality is sooo good
I really expected a video where I knew everything as a blitz 1800s, I can assure you, I didn't know any of the lines as I don't know any theory at all. It was pretty cool.. and uncool how I used to deal with these situations without significant advantage when these were possible
your honesty in the way you assess your knowledge in this opening is refreshing. we cant know everything its ok 😉
@chessscape right.. and thanks for the engaging video that led me to watch it till the end, leading to learning new things
White only develops the queen and bishop so he is losing.
I love you man❤❤❤
I like your videos and I guess that's because of ur personality...
Also can I know where ur from? Coz Google doesn't know 😅
And what do you in the first case if queen takes pawn with check instead of going to f3 please?
This actually was useful
"Family fork" 😀😀😀 Never heard this before 😀
0:15 if we push f7 pawn to f6, the queen can just fork the rook and the king by killing the e5 pawn
Не перестаю удивляться шахматам. Знал 3 контры детскому мату которые успешно применяю.
Но f7-f5, после Qf3 это просто бомба! Не знал про такой вариант.
I felt this kind of pain before (When i'm still new at chess) i just got checkmated in just 3 moves by this scholar's check without knowing/noticing...
you are one of the best chess youtube channels
thank you very much 🙏🏼
Oh nice
yoyoyoyoy Chessscape. I take it your from your accent that you are French, donc merci énormément mon ami. Tes vidéos sont, surtout ceux comme celui-ci, parfait pour les joueurs de mon niveau qui, comme moi, tombent dans le piège de ces tactiques stupides. I know those opening are terrible, but I never know how to combat them and end up losing anyway. Donc MERCI.
You realize he's Arab right...? 😂 🇦🇪
Edit: wrong flag haha
offhand, I can think of 6 Arab countries that were colonized by the French. I'd know that accent anywhere
RadioJan vibes… I like it😮
In less than 2 mins I absolutly loved this guy's blog style and his moves against a queen. Subscribe and like
Thank you ♥️
the funny thing is at low elo when I do the double attack most players take the pawn with bishop and blunder the queen
Love this video
I hate those suckers who think they know how to play just bringing out 2 pieces
1:54
Smash them with f5
Brock Lesnar: happy f5 noises
I actually used most of this defense earlier without knowing the scholars m8 but fumbled the bag and blocked the royal fork. Still won though
What if the opponent does not take the knight on d5 but instead defends with knight to a3, preventing the family fork in the first example?
My friend plays scholar's mate EVERY GAME for some reason, so this video has been a great resource for me to win most of our games lol. Now I just need to stop blundering
is knight g6 also a good idea?
Wayne Queen Attack is swell not dumb, oh and its name is not scolars mate, if you didnt recognize
I'm already 1500 and ive never encountered this thing😂.
I didnt even know you could use traps on this one.
Now i have to find someone who will try to play Scholar's Mate against me
I play many bullet games, just drop from 400 to around 200 rating recently
You mean from 1400 to 1200... I don't think there is a rating below 1000.
At the end, you won the bishop on h6 but Qxc7 is uncomfortable for black.
Although most take the pawn so people move their king and then lose the rook
actually he can take the pawn on e5 and get a free rook due to check, this opening in called wayward queen attack
Actually after he goes to Ne2, you play Nd4, attacking and threatening a fork on c2
if you attack with the pawn be careful if u dont have ur knight out yout opponent can play qxe5+ forking the king
and the rook
0:02 one timed i blundered my knight and demanding a rematch from the guy who scholar mated me and he rejected
what if white pawn goes d5 in the last flow?
At first I thought it was a random person from another tutorial, then I realised it was you lol
me again 😅😅😅
1:30 the queen can escape by blocking the attack with the bishop, and then escape to a safe square on the next move?
If bishop blocks, bishop takes bishop (defended by knight on d7 amd rook). That allows the Queen to e3, but then bishop to h2 check, with a discovered attack on the queen, winning the Queen still
if you move your pawn to g6 the queen and win a rook though
But doesn't the queen usually take the pawn when you threaten her with the pawn g6?
Good advices for 1000.
I like the way to speak. It sounds like "what? You gonna disrespect me with that cheap move?! I'm gonna spank you!"😂
0:19 what if he takes d5 pawn and pins the king and rook
0:41 What if they take? Cause thats what happened when mostly people keep trying scholar's mating me
You get the bishop pair -> an advantage.
Wow
super useful, now I am going to forget everything you taught and get checkmated in 4
hahahaha watch it again to make sure you remember it!
broo i have never seen your face so this is not what i was expecting
this is much better!
thank you bro 😅
scholar's mate is dumb, but it has amazing instructional power for beginners.
Someone tried this on me and I defended the square with a knight, they did not see the knight.
This will add a quick 500 to my ELO
But what if magnus carlson play scholar's mate?
What if they bring out the queen straight away? I just do knight c6 as usual?
yes Nf6 chases the queen. It’s worse for him to start with the queen out
Can't the king move to E7 of c7
Bruh just keep your knight at h2 it sees the f2 square if the queen comes there just kill it and kill with the king you have an extra queen
In the end it was queen trade
You explain a little too fast for me 😅. But its fun, and CZcams allows me, to look it often enough. Thanks.😊
Have you tried listening faster
@@StephenDeTomasi
No, good idea ;-) But to be serious, in Blitz i am around 150, in 15/10 its 650.
I just need a lot of time. Otherwise, i have bad luck with thinking...
I prefer the kings gambit I created it myself
Dealing with the scholars mate is easy, but highly annoying as just about everyone is throwing the same cheap nonsens at you.
Da rookh
The good news is now I know, the bad news is I didn’t do any of those moves when I played the game 😂
its not that i lose it its the annoying
Thank you now i can beat my dad in chess
Me who plays Caro-Kann c6 d5
Why can’t you take the knight with the bishop?
i show this at end of the video
What if queen moves to e6 checking our king
that what im saying cause then they get a rook
