HEY! Nice job! In California city inspectors would hang our balls if we put 2 wires in one wire terminal. Need to use short wire from the terminal and use wire nuts to split into two wires: into load and surge protector.
Can I wire this into a 240v subpanel and protect two devices at the same time? Two 120v mini-splits on 20amp breakers, the only devices on that subpanel. I understand they won't be protected from eachother. Will the lifetime warranty cover me if I do the install myself?
Good vid ! Looks like a Good Product if u Live in an area with those kind of issues. Not necessary in Southern California. We Have Decent Consistant Power Year Round. No Power outages to speak of usually. although We Do Have alot of Low voltage. 197-202 volts everywhere consistantly.
More economical to have a whole house surge protector installed that protects everything, some of those units also come with lifetime warranty. While this protects a compressor in a event all your other devices in your home have been fried (furnace, microwave, TV, computer, etc)
whole whole surge protectors protect from incoming surges outside the home, but do not cover surges within the home...thats why its still recommended that surge protectors be placed on sensitive electronic equipment
As always, a well done and informative video
Installation minus the installation. The before and after are pointless without the actuall installation
So much for the wiring example.
Great demo guys, looks like a viable option for customers with spike issues
Good products are coming out now. All wanted one like that for single phase inverter a/c units.

Will a whole house surge protector installed at the electrical distribution panel protect as well?

Hello, I enjoy watching all your videos quick question: is the Trane xr16 combined with a s9v2 furnace is any good?
thanks for all the info
Does it break the control circuit power so user knows there is a problem or does someone have to perform a visual inspection?
Great video as usual . Where we order it from .
What’s a fair price to charge the homeowner for that surge protector
Whatever the Manufacturer Recommends as a List Price.
Carlos Dominquez define fair and I will issue my opinion?
Double tap on line side boiz??
If they double tapping, that will fail an electrical code. Need to pigtail
