Very good thoughts. I am focusing more on Odysee, Rumble, etc because I am sick of CZcams flagging videos and striking my channel for simply talking about FOSS software. CZcams is losing its way and many people in our sector are starting to loose faith in CZcams, and looking to populate other platforms instead.
Also don't forget peertube too and its "instances".
I agree. These days I spread my fire by uploading to all three platforms; CZcams, Peertube, and Odysee. Yet I get different results every time. Weird.
Great review Chris i think for creators getting away from Googles Algorythum is getting more and more important i follow you on other providers because i like your content and more than happy to move to peertube or odysee, CZcams is becoming a dead ground and the way they treat the content creators is disgusting.
I like the empowerment aspect of the personal content that is not overproduced.
But i also like to see these very professional productions on youtube, that can replace tv.
There is also a huge empowerment for small studios and creators with teams. The equipment and skill is so easy and cheap to get. It's really what you make with it. Thanks for sharing!
I totally agree. I watch a lot of CZcams content that has higher production values, as well as the lo-fi stuff. I still watch more shows on CZcams than most anywhere else.
I was shocked the drop of usual content on this channel. I miss the Linux ramblings.
