Leader cult and dictatorship dominate the lives of 24 million people in the most separated country in the world. Western TV crews are rarely allowed to enter the country. On the occasion of the Women’s World Cup in Germany, in which North Korea also participates, the authorities in Pyongyang have given the reporters permission for the first time after almost two years of effort. While the watchdogs kept trying to stop the shooting, the camera was able to capture intense moments and keen interviews.
