To even want him back is selfish tbh. After the way both of those guys have played, they should either leave, be thrown out, or take huge paycuts. But there's no way that needs to go more the Draymond, the entire organization seems literally afraid he will hurt them physically.

Klay and Draymond got paid very handsomely when they were good and they are rich forever, they don't need need or deserve max contracts, they already earned it and it was paid out to them at the time. It's insane to me that players can feel that because they won a ring on an old contract, the organization should throw out their future to pay you a bigger contract while your worth less. Fuck that, if they have balls, throw them both out on the street or pay them the Vet minimum, they will still be rich and they can stay with the Warriors and they can add talent around them.

On the positive, Klay did play 70+ games this year. Ideally, he should take a one yr team friendly deal next yr to prove his worth before commiting to anything drastic. But knowing how gangsta he is, it's unlikely he would swallow his pride.

For someone that cost the regular season he really shouldn't be up here talking about who "we" want back. Draymond is the reason they were 10th seed instead of 6-7 seed.

Now the best option for the organisation, in terms of potentially winning in a championship as soon as possible is to trade Steph.

Draymond was a negative factor the last two seasons. His on court antics are a drain on his team and the fans. You can make a valid argument that he cost them at least 2 positions in the standings this yr. Klay showed last night that his best days are behind him. Warriors seems to be going the way of the Celtics with Bird Parish and McHale, which lead the Celtics into losing for around 10 years (Reggie's death had to do with this as well). They should take instead the path of the Celtics with Pierce, Garnett and Allen, which gave them the success they have now with Tatum and Brown.
I'm sorry but this makes no sense to me, we are talking about the guy who made the most 3 pointers in a game. Yes, everyone goes through highs and lows, but nobody goes to zero. I believe that Klay is So Done with Golden State. It is the epitome of political correctness for his teammates to say he will be back, as the plan along the way was for the Warriors nucleus to go out together. Ex GM,Bob Meyers made a Critical Mistake. He extended Jordan Poole with money that was due Klay. Poole was then traded away. I won't even go into others who were extended, and kept, this could not have sat well with Klay, who Was an integral part of the 4 Championships that he Clearly let the Suns Devin Booker know about. Personally, I believe that he was Lowballed by the team, benched during the season, due to his alleged slump, and not given the two year contract extension that "others " received. In his final game, against the Sacramento Kings, I believe that he came out with all of the professionalism that he could muster up, and for that, I applaud the Great Klay Thompson. 🏀🏀🏀🏀🐶❤
