  • Walk through of the 2021 Subaru Outback Limited. I did goof up at one spot. an update to the infotainment changed how to switch between mph and kph, rendering the "i" button useless in this trim.

    Thank you! I just purchased a new Outback and to say I am overwhelmed by all the buttons and settings is an understatement. You have taught me so much. Appreciate it!

    I just bought the Onyx XT and it seems that as you drive, the distance to empty shows in 10 mile increments. I find that a little bit strange since most cars count down to empty using single miles as a countdown, i.e. 300, 299, 298 etc. But mine seems to go; 300, 290, 280, 270 etc. Is there a way to change this to count in mile increments? Thanks.

      No. Most manufacturers now use this since it is based on an overall average mileage.

    HI Michael, I have a question re: the navigation with the 2021 Subaru Outback. I don't have a navigation system in the screen. I have been using my android auto. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.Any suggestions?

      Make sure you're using an the USB cord that came with your phone. Anything aftermarket can cause issues.

      @@howtosubaru thank you so much for answering me. My phone is over 2 years old, could the usb be too old for the 2021 Outback?

    • @howtosubaru
      @howtosubaru  Před 3 lety

      @@pdarby3110 no. Typically the problem comes with using a USB cord that isn't from the manufacturer of the phone. Occasionally the data transfer might be too much if your phone screen is on. That can cause your USB on your phone to actually stop transferring data.
