  • I've decided to get the sign writing only van redone so in this video I show you how I removed the vinyl decal/stickers, then I try a few different methods of removing the sticky residue and ghost marks left by the old stickers.
I don't know if any of the methods used in this video will damage your paint so take no responsibility for any damage done. this isn't a how to video but what I did to my own vehicle. if you decide to try any of the methods I used always do a test patch first.

White spirit moves it off with ease after you use the heat gun, douse a sponge with white spirit , let it soak for 15 mins, then go over it again an it will come off easy

Yes, pictures. Videos of work, make shorts on the job. Make it all informative and you will be over 6 months backed up locally to your town! Seriously, social media is everything. Find your favorite neighborhoods and join the groups. Next door is key, my company that I'm gm for is number 1 out of 178 paint companies on a lake called lake Conroe. We get so much business just from that.

Pictures of your best finished jobs...!!!
My sign guy printed a banner collage for me on heavy vinyl that has UV protective layer. My sign shop coached me how to wet apply my photo banner. I used a urethane hand roller to roll the pure water out from under the vinyl once I had the vinyl where I wanted it. The paint must be very clean first. Wash good, then wipe down very good with isopropyl alcohol and white terry clothes till no soil shows on white terry cloths.
