- In this Cities Skylines 2 video I show you a third-person Train-Ride in my Cities Skylines 2 Vanilla City.
We're starting at the International Airport, cross an Island and ride over an bridge towards the central station with a breathtaking view of the Skyline of the capital city of the region. Then we continue the ride over a massive Suspension bridge into the industrial harbor area.

We really need more train station options, this one is too big!
And too ugly, at least for certain purposes. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice station for a rural design, but it doesn't look good as a main central station of a metropolitan area. But I guess in future Updates and DLCs we will get a lot of different stations in various sizes.

Totally agree! My biggest problem with CS2 at the moment is the train station. Why does the only option have 6 tracks through it? As others have said, that's too small for a main central station, but way too big for any other station after the various train lines across a city's train network split off into different directions.
Generally all the stations across a city would only have one double-track running through them as each station only serves one line, and then all the different train lines meet up at the main central station which might have 8-10 tracks & platforms. Plopping down 6-track stations all over a city just looks & feels wrong.
@@JesusManeramy biggest one is prob the characters feed not acc working just says born at what ever time they spawned in and it was one of the big features they presented and turn right left restrictions not working in some roads
The lane shifts on the bridge at 1:41 took me by surprise! Lol. You put so much work into this city. It looks amazing.

Hope they fix those catenaries that are clipping through the roofs at platforms.
I hope they add a feature to upgrade the type of road, without influencing the look of the bridge. Really grinds my gears seen half if the lanes being unused, because of astethics
Also kinda wish they'd add yellow lines to American themed highway roads.
@@Ilikefire2792 While it would be more realistic if they add yellow lines to North American themed highway roads, since North American highways only have yellow line on the left, does it really matter?
@automation7295 @automation7295 Um yes it very much does matter.
Especially considering that they did make the lines become yellow for the two lane, two directional highway.
So when you connect the non yellow line colored 2 lane one-way highway to it, the line colors don't match looking really bad as a result.
Seriously, try it out. It looks extremely bad in game as it goes suddenly from white "center" line to a double yellow line.

Fun video! Great looking city! You might want to turn off dynamic resolution to get rid of that shimmering you see in the rails and fences.

Love the trains going between the road carriageways - think I'll use that as inspiration! I also fancy doing a bit of double-decker bridge action, with trains underneath the roadway. I think that's possible...?
Hopefully we will eventually get stations designed to be built in the middle of freeway lanes with walkways crossing over the lanes. Perth has heaps of good freeway designed train / bus interchanges that would fit well here.

BTW to make this more realistic you might wana clear the trees from near the train tracks as leaves falling onto the tracks are a big problem for trains IRL

The more I look at this installment, the more I see that it is not worth buying...it was released way too soon.
Mf used two way highways in some points where it didn’t make any sense.
The train look like one of those French high speed trains they don’t suit commuter service😩 But great city 👍
Exactement, les train de banlieue français ne ressemblent pas à cela. Cela ressemblent à un train de grande vitesse ( TGV ) très souvent éloigné des villes et villages. Je pense qu'un futur DLC devrait rajouter différents types de trains avec différentes gare.
