I am a Mom, and I list 1-2 items every day, and source a couple times a week….and because I have been a reseller for a VERY long time, (I know what I am doing, and am very brand savvy). I do quite well. I am sure that with your kids, you can still carve out time to picture and list a couple items each day. You will be surprised with how well you do. Prioritize those kiddo’s! My Mom prioritized working/money over caring for me, and that made me a very sad and lonely child.

Mogi! I admire you so much, I've been watching your videos since 2019! I've seen you start small to being big with employees! I'm getting back into reselling after about a year and its refreshing to see how much you've scaled down and you're still sticking with it! Will be watching your video more as I'm getting back to it!
March was my best sales month too. I adopted your "move it March" philosophy and it worked!
Well done! Flip that for me. My sales are all coming from eBay. I have not had a sale on Poshmark since March 23rd. I typically have at least one sale per day on that platform. The offers I have been getting on Poshmark are impossible to accept and still make a decent return. Something weird is going on over there for me.
Man, that’s brutal. I think you have to be aggressive with offers, etc these days on Poshmark in order to make it work. Lowering prices and relisting help too!

Agree. I haven’t sold a single thing on Poshmark in maybe a month and yet the same things sell well on eBay. Very pleased with eBay. I think Poshmark broke awhile back.

I get at least 5 lowball offers every day on Poshmark that are over 50% off my asking price. It is getting out of control.
If you can start a 529 plan or equivalent for your state for college fund for your kids now, your contributions would be low and you will be grateful. I did part time selling when i worked full time and my small profits went to 529. I have put 3 kids through college and they have no debt. Like my parents did for me. ❤
Agreed. I started a high yield for my daughter (she's 3 weeks old) and I'm only putting in a little at a time so by the time college comes around She will be set

How much inventory did you have to justify paying for posher VA? I'm interested in buying it but with only like 20 items in inventory I don't think it would be worth it?
@O-omi I don't have that many! I fluctuate between 70-100 available listings! But if it helps, I sold I think 4 items in 48 hours, which is a lot for me!

my march was not as good as my Feb, but I am still learning. Started in Aug. Definitely proved to myself consistency is key and draft banks are the secret sauce. I have not made sauce yet. LOL

I been reselling 15 years. I did clothing for quite some time when you could buy clothing super cheap at Good will but then Covid came and Good will raised their prices. I live in Nebraska and there are no decent "bins" in my area so I just said the heck with clothing. I went to buying amazon return pallets, those started out good then the price went up on them too..lol..I just crochet things now. I am a grandma of 2 kids and decided to slow down and enjoy my life and not worry about making that money as much..
I've seen the prices of the goodwills in Nebraska and it is absolutely insane what they're asking. Funny enough the day I was in a Lincoln Nebraska Goodwill astounded at the high prices, I caught a CZcams video from some resellers in California who had also gone shopping at Goodwill that day. In California the prices were still reasonable. So obviously either a regional office or the stores have more say in how they price things then I'd originally thought. Also a Goodwill in Kansas that I had stopped going to because the prices were extremely high, begin pricing at a much more reasonable rate once they got a new manager. So basically it's up to the store how insane they want to go. Obviously all the managers in Nebraska feel like overcharging and they're going to ruin their businesses.

I hear you on the small sizes, I have to really think about anything below a 27 waist. They just sit for so long, and I really think people in those sizes have their pick on the sales racks so they shop secondhand less.

I’m still waiting for it to sell (it’ll be a great day when it does!), but it is definitely possible to find! I found a Self Portrait dress for $8 at that same store this morning. I already want to go back 😅

It's eclipse day and I bet your having a baby today if you haven't already!
In 1984 My Mom predicted my Son would be born on the eclipse May 31st 1984 even though my due date wasn't until June 15th.
I had him at home with midwives and it was a great experience.
The Moon is really strong on an eclipse and even a few days before & after and my Mom was right.
My Son will be 40 years old this May 31st.

Question: why do you offer returns on eBay? Is it to encourage buyers?
I’ve found that there’s no way around returns on ebay. If you don’t allow them, buyers will just open more INAD (item not as described) returns and ebay almost always sides in their favor. Accepting returns, but having the buyer pay for the return is the least frustrating situation for me personally
I never accept returns on eBay. I’ve never lost a case either because my photos and descriptions back up my product. Something to think about.
@@jillr759Morgan has excellent pictures and descriptions,however buyers might not like the fit of an item and they wanna return it.

I do have a lot of hard time pricing my items and to let go when I receive an okay offer, when many times I get more money for my same items from Ebay. I'm still working on that to find a sweet balance😅
