Here is my Bike Check for this 3rd round of the World Enduro Series here in Madeira Island in Portugal.
Things I didn't mention in the video:
- 150mm dropper post.
- 22psi front tire, 24psi rear.
- no tire insert

Awesome bike and realy good explanation of set up. I am thinking about buing this bike but I am on a short side 171cm with 79 cm inseam. Woud I be good on 29er or better go with 27,5?. Also seat tube is 44cm long which scares me that it might be too long gor my legs? Currently I am on lapierre zesty 2013 with 43 cm seat tube. Good video, thank you

Just look at GMBN video about brake levers position, for gravity disciplines, you tend to have a flat lever bc you're most of the time standing above the saddle ;)
I would guess that EWS stages are real steep and you would have to ride off the back of the bike. If the lever was pointed down...that would force you into a forward position.

220psi in the rear seems pretty high pressure. Are you able to run that high and still have the small bump compliance due to MegNeg or is there something else going? I ask because I’m a similar size (180cm and 78kg) and run about 190psi to achieve about 25% sag with a RS Monarch and even that often seems harsh (I also run a DVO Jade coil for more “enduro” rides)
chase courington you have to add 30 to 40psi to your normal pressure with meg neg to get to your normal SAG. So it’s normal 😊

Why don't you ask your buddies at Sram to create a left AXS shifter with at least 2 buttons instead of one. That's what some riders with a disability or a serious right hand injury need. I don't want to banter about Shimano di2 vs Sram AXS, but since almost day one we can do that with Shimano.
That would be great man if they listen to you about that. I'm kind of surprised they did not come with the idea :), they have been the clever one lately but this one button only left/reverb shift is a bit of a bummer.

le paramétrage au niveau de l'axs est un avantage en effet, mais pour ma part, je me serait habituer au vitesses sur la même commande et la reverb comme d'habitude a gauche. car là, si tu te plante, au lieu de descendre d'une vitesse, tu vas remonter ta reverb... ;) Mais c'est vrai que c'est une question d'habitude
Philippe Soudon la commande du shifter est un seul est unique bouton que tu actionne soit vers le bas ou vers le haut, quand tu est cramé en spéciale en enduro je les trouvé un peu difficile à appuyer vers le haut. La tige de selle je ne l’utilise quasi pas en spécial et si je l’utilise ça sera sur des montées longue ou j’ai le temps de me préparer. D’où le fait d’avoir changer, ça m’as pris 1 heure pour m’habituer 😉

Im not a huge fan of putting batteries on bikes. Just waste of energy. And the enviromental impact of producing and disposing batteries is big. Batteries are great, use them where nessisary but bikes can and schould be green.
