so i decided to watch this stream hours prior to the 2019 jingle jam 2019 yesterday. just to get a taste of nostalgia and get into the jingle jam spirit. i quickly put it together just a while ago. i don't know why i though since i still need to catch up with some jingle jam 2019 vods. ok, i'm gonna go now, enjoy, bye.
Where did you find this stream to watch if you dont mind me asking?
@@Triggernaughter oldest video on the yogscast live channel :>
i realize I'm quite randomly asking but does anyone know of a good website to stream new series online?
Simon: Maybe pick up alcoholism.
That's what we in the business call foreshadowing.
What
@@RaxoFilms brewis ginley
How did Lewis go from being an awkward weird nerd to an awkward weird stud
its the hair lol
he lost the hamster cheeks
It's the glasses
It's the veganism
it's the gay personal trainer
Simon screaming “WHAT ARE THE RULES” and Sips’ dying fit are iconic
I still maintain that Sips misheard him. It shoulda like he mutters, “Follow the rules,” in the midst of his laughter. It doesn’t make it any less funny, but I don’t get why Sips found it so funny as there were no rules to follow at that point!
I never understand why it was funny and I still don't but I always remember it with so much nostalgia regardless 😄 one of the many references where you're not sure if its an inside joke or if it just... happened on the spot
Everyone “postman pat postman pat and his black and white”
Sips “post”
that moment when you realize simon's hairstyle is slowly becoming like the one of the noble prize winner
It was all foreshadowing
I miss the days where area 11 and the yogs were so close
6:45 and thus Brewis Ginly was born
This is the best jingle jam. Certified by a nobel prize winner
I would love to see 2012. It’s the only year that I actually watched most of the streams and would love to see a compilation like this! Thanks!
Man, you have no idea how much I would love to have the full 2012-13 streams, or at least most of them. I watched those soooo many times before most of them disappeared forever. That was back when Twitch didn't mute vods that had copyright music in them, so Sparkles just DJ'd all night (hence why they're not uploaded) and the livestream room was basically a fucking treefort compared to what they have now, which added to the charm. Plus, it was during the "golden age" of the Yogscast, when they were all doing Tekkit, Sips was doing Skyrim and SimCity, Hat Films and Kim had just joined. It was a magical time and many, probably MOST of those streams were my go-to comfort-watching through the whole year. Then, a few years down the line, it just seemed like I looked around at all the stream nights and just saw a sea of unfamiliar faces and games I had no real affection for...and realized the Yogscast I'd regarded as my home had grown and morphed into something I no longer recognized. Not a place I disliked, per se, just a place where I now felt like a visitor rather than a longtime resident. That's when I really started to miss those old streams. And lamented their loss. I guess I figured they'd always be around somewhere. This is the internet after all; nothing disappears here. But, if they're out there, I haven't come across them. I guess that, even on the internet, the old saying is true...you can never go home again.
Poopscipade - Oof, this comment hit close to home. The original Christmas livestreams, before they became ‘the Jingle Jam’, and the original Yogscast basically defined my late teens/uni years. I found them at a tough, stressful time and I felt like those guys were friends I could come home to. I loved those original livestreams, with the smooth jazz at 11.11 with Area 11 and just the general banter of the Yogscast. Around 2014/15, I started to feel like something had changed. Their videos were more ad-focused and sponsored, loads of new faces kept popping up, and it just didn’t feel like coming home to old friends any more. I eventually just unsubscribed and gave up, but I still check in on the Christmas streams every year. It’s never been the same though. Your comment definitely hit close to home.
2013 was when i was in my peak fan stage. I remember watching almost every day of the 2013 jingle jam. I love watching your videos to get my yogscast fix, since i am much more time poor these days. Cheers for this video.
31:36 good ole lewis, never change
Strippin and sparklez being here plus all the talk about the late Alex parvis… what a great throwback
Very sad that %90 of these are now lost to the Aether.
Heres a link to a playlist that has that whole year recorded. Easily the best Jingle Jam theres been czcams.com/play/PLOI8eFPLjDpryNbZC0yhZQQ-Xc4e7wQyn.html
Shit i just remembered this was one of my fav streams at the time i even uploaded it full but haven't watched it since then, i guess the highlights is the best format for me now since i dont have any fucking time to watch them full lol.
That moment where Simon started playing jingle cats and Lewis was so done with everything and just grabbed that fucking huge bottle of jack daniels.
This is a real treat, thank you for the nostalgia
20:03 The moment I've been searching for ❤ Thank you.
Rewatching this, I think I can see when the Bristol Pusher was born.
omg thank you for this!!! so nostalgic🥺🥺
Watching this live was incredible. Everyone was exhausted, especially Sips. Practically delirious.
This whole stream is full of quality content.
thanks for making this!
The best year of the yogscast Christmas Livestream.
the funny names was a tradition that got lost somewhere over the years
Its going to be so weird raising kids in a world where livestreams are just normal but to me, the start of the Christmas livestreams from the yogs was the start of livestreams for me. This just wasn't a thing until the last few years and now it's the next big step for some people!
Oooh, nice one. Cheers man!
Forgot parv had already died in 2013
All the way up to little guitar player heaven...
Jesus, how are they so YOUNG?
This was such a golden syream
This makes me so happy ♥
RIP Prof. Shapely
Best one was when bloody hannah jumped on and gave Lewis a berating for not signing off the livestream and it was super fucking late. Lewis and Simon just sat drunk watching cat videos trying to coordinate the livestream software due to "unforeseen abscences"
Oh and sjin singing "I believe in a thing called love"
Dam that was good shit
Toaster mics and big laughs
I remember that thumbnail in every detail
Even though it was the correct decision I do miss Ridgedog
This is gold
Does anyone know where I can get the whole of the other streams from 2013?
the good old days
Ah, good old days
thank you
i feel old now
Best night McCokiner.
lewis was so innocent
Man I feel old as fuck, because a lot of people watching this will have no idea who Ridgedog is 😂 old school Yogs man, good times.
Alec Johnson here, just checking-in.
Nostalgia
*Ridgedog*

What was going on with Lewis in this video?
Ridge laughing sound like crying xD
Lewis seems like such a controlling and buzz killing knob head back then. Much more chill now
Probably bc he was dating hannah
Is this all one day or did they not change clothes?
all in one day
i miss lewis' cheeky cheeks. Edit: Oh god, the Minecraft4Kids texture pack...
I love these guys but if the video had just been 0:00 seconds long
I would have died
Great Video tho fr!
The future has not been too kind to these boys the glory days are well and truly gone so proud this jingle jams gone we’ll I’m not sure how long we have left of the yogs tbh
only the funny bits huh? guess its gonna be a pretty short video then.
who knows, you might even be able to break the 5 minute mark if you stretch the content enough.
you could put this same comment on every one of this dudes videos. humor is subjective
Simon: Maybe pick up alcoholism.
