    Elizabeth I. Holland is the Chief Executive Officer of Abbell Associates based in Chicago, a seventy-year old private real estate investment, development and management company with an approximately 3.5 million/sf portfolio, comprised of shopping center, office, and enclosed mall properties. Ms. Holland is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers, serving as the Vice Chairman (2015-2016) and a member of the Executive Board and Board of Trustees. Ms. Holland is also a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of the Commercial & Retail Council - Blue. Prior to joining Abbell, Ms. Holland was a Senior Staff Attorney with the National Bankruptcy Review Commission, a Congressional commission charged with making recommendations to the Bankruptcy Code.

    Yes. It is a perception problem.
    Such that if you shift the perceptive filter, the problem disappears.
    However, those who are in charge of where to place the perceptive filters win.
    And that is not women.
    Men are people.
    Women are women.
    Men see.
    Women are seen.
    *This* is the problem that is unlikely to solve itself.

    Those two bachelor's degrees women get are gender studies and a language, compared to the one computer science degre a man gets ;)
