I didn't see her fix anything. When doing the spark test, she didn't even have spark because the switch wasn't turned to "run". The machine would not start until she turned the ground switch to run. She cleaned but did not repair. Really didn't do anything to warrant taking the motor off the thresher.
The engine started after she'd finished working on it, and it didn't before, so she did do something. You just didn't see what it was.
There was a spark. Watch it again. Sometimes, cleaning is all that's needed, like the air filter for example.
If she was called out to fix it previously, that's probably why it needed fixing again. Judging by the lack of torque she applied to the carburettor nuts, then if that's what she did before, they vibrated loose. That would stop the engine, for sure. I guess she'll be back when it stops next.
There's really not much to that engine. If that guy could learn a few basics, he could save himself some money. He should at least watch and learn.

@@CrowPal Watch it again. The first attempt to start it, the engine ground switch was in the off position. When she did start it, on the first pull it was still off, then she flips the switch, and it starts. She didn't fix it, she performed regular maintenance.
