The best unneccesary addition was Susan. She had no real reason for the story to be there, they just put her in because it's fun. And it leads to Alastor having a beef with this random old lady.

I like how this show is able to balance out its comedy and genuinely dramatic and serious moments fairly.
Exept for Sir Pentious' death, which was both one of the funniest and saddest moment in the show
Spoiler alert.
I think it helps that Pentious didn't "die" so much as he was reborn in Heaven. He'll be back next season.

They did that with quite a few of these jokes. a lot of them had very sad undertones that were ignored in favour of creating a funny out of context video. Its like they went for more shock humour than the actual funny parts of the show
