Please remember the child is at the age where he can determine what he wants to call him. My son calls both his dad & stepdad dad and when he has a comment for both he uses it as a plural because his loves them both with no judgment.

STFU Al. Both my parents remarried when I was 2 and my stepparents are polar opposites. My stepmom has always treated me as if I was her own child and refers to me as her son. I love her to death. My stepdad always made it clear to me I wasn’t his child and never even pretended to treat me the same as the kids he had with my mom, even though he’s been in my life since I was 2 years old. Russell is doing a fantastic job as a parent.

You can call on when needed. You have a solid relationship. A father is the other half of your DNA. Wish Future would spend more quality time with his son.

This is not about what the ⚫️ community needs. It's about facts. It is a fact that he is just his stepfather. That stepfather title only lasts if the marriage lasts. It's the same thing when it comes to in-laws. If you want to go the emotional or whatever y want to call it route, many people do not even communicate with their former stepchildren or former in-laws.
Facts are facts. Future will forever be his biological father. Russell is a superb man for stepping up, but Future can never be replaced. Future just needs to show up. Some men don’t know how to be a father just like some women don’t know how to be a mother. Mindsets like yours break down the relationship between father and son. Generations and generations of women that think exactly like you. The little girls and boys grow up thinking this behavior is ok. I saw the caption on IG and it was fine and totally benign not sure Al's point. He is Future's stepfather and yes he is his DAD so why can't he say Proud Dad??
Al, like usual, is dumb, loud and wrong. Russell didn't write anything wrong. Future isn't there day to day even though he has the resources to be and he's disrespectful to Ciara. Russell doesn't have to be little Future's biological father to be his father. When people adopt children, they aren't expected to painstakingly announce that they are an adoptive parent, so I don't know why Russell should have to distinguish between his biological children and little future when he loves all of them.
Russell owes Future no respect because Future doesn't even respect himself as a man & certainly not as a father. That said, I'm just happy this little boy has a positive male role model in his everyday life.

First and foremost he didn't do anything disrespectful he can call that young man his son he's providing for him he is taking care Of him. Him showing that young man love has nothing to do with future whatsoever nor is it him taken shots set him or his fatherhood. There are a lot of step parents that when they refer to the children that they are taking care of that may not be biologically theirs they don't refer to them as their step children they referred to them as their children. I am also quite sure that baby future does not refer to him as step dad when he is speaking directly to him. If he does not call him by his name he probably either cause him dead or whatever name he feels comfortable referring to him but I'm quite sure it's not step dad.

There's something I heard a lot growing up and that's "respect is reciprocal". Future does not do a good job of giving respect to the people who are 95% present and raising Future Jr. I get what Al is saying but let's go by the receipt. Being a dad is much more than being a sperm donor. You are also a role model. There are ways Future Snr can be a positive role model from a distance regardless of his feelings of whether or not Ciara and Russell did him dirty. Not calling his mom a "B*****" is a start.
