Why do you think its so ridiculously expensive to visit?
Why are travellers instantly sold hotel accomodations and other things that they're not even asking for?... its revenue.
Many of Mecca's historical sites have been demolished just to make accomodations for billions of travellers swarming the kaaba, ....which never should have been happening to begin with , covid or no covid.
Khadija's home has been demolished just to build bathrooms where it sat.
She's almost literally being "pissed on in her grave".

Yeah... Imagining all the narrations and innarrated memories that took place there. Very intense emotions. The Kaaba was once set on fire. And then built back by the people. But there wasn't enough money to build it in the exact same way. Kaaba was recatngular in shape, the Meccan polytheists rebuilt it as a cube. The round order of stones near the Kaaba, known as Hijw-Ismail, is considered as the inside of Kaaba. Muhammad PBUH told the people that whoever wants to get inside the Kaaba can get inside the Hijw-Ismail as it was a part of Kaaba before.
