Is that in refrenece to the end of BL3? I have only played BL 1 and 2, but I have seen a ton of mixed opinions about BL3.
BL3 is widely hated by older Borderlands fans, including me.
None of them have good end games. BL2 is unbalanced and broken when you start OP levels and BL 1 has no end game. BL3 did endgame the best but it still depends on grinding gear. If mayhem levels had the same effect but you had to do missions to increase them, then it would be a much better game
@@chrishappy1537 Agreed. Bl1 essentially had no intent for "end game", bl2 was extremely broken and I'm honestly surprised so many people hate bl3's end game in its modern state. At launch it sucked because Mayhem scaling among other things just didn't exist yet. People complained about needing to grind in the older games and at launch legendary farming was incredibly quick. But folks didn't want that either, so they nerfed it and honestly found the best balance imo for farming at higher difficulties. The only gripe I will agree with is that annoinment re-rolling is expensive and eridian farming legitimately is a time consuming process. Some people would say to get rid of it but I like the annointments. The current state of bl3 has honestly the best late game nowadays but I will say the Balands mod makes it waaaaayyy more enjoyable.
Need Brick to be a playable character. Hulk raging explosive punches. Who needs guns when you got an explosive nuclear punching George Foreman

Spoiler, they almost assuredly did. The guy that did all the writing for BL3 is now the head of the narration department. He unabashedly believes in bringing in consultants for his writing team.
I'll hold my judgment until we see the game, but the gaming industry seems to be interested in using companies like that.
Hopefully this has more support than the movie, would be ashame to see Borderlands go the Halo route and tarnish the franchise.
You are WAY too optimistic about there being an even larger company known to push monetization HARD owning Gearbox.
I mean their games have a history of been pretty good
Nice i hope they make it to where you can customize your character alot better like chaning your shoes or changing your jacket and keeping the same body

I can only hope that we get more than 4 Vault hunters this time around and almost as the same amount of trees in BL3. Hopefully, this can top BL2...but I won't hold my breath for it. Last time they mentioned that they were going to do a lot of characters with BL3 and that idea got scrapped.
I can't wait to see these new characters see how busted they make their skill tree oh and the story to can't wait to see where they take it.
Don't keep your hopes up. The story will be woke. Why? Because they the writers are woke as fuck.
After BL3 it will be interesting to see where they go from there
It won’t go woke if we keep Randy from doing what he always does and making sure BL4 will become more greater an fluid story gameplay wise,or shit gunna hit the fan big time an he gunna be boo’ed out of gearbox from the judge giving him the boot ect lol
As long as Randy Pitchford is still involved with Borderlands and the story writer who worked on Borderlands 3 and Wonderlands sticks around to write the stories for the new Borderlands projects, then the new games are always gonna flop.

@@DNye No Mr. DNye, the lead writer for the best Borderlands games, Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel, is Anthony Burch.
The lead writer for the awful story and character writing/dialogue in Borderlands 3 and Wonderlands is Sam Winkler.
This is also why you have story inconsistencies with Borderlands 1, Borderlands 3 and New Tales of the Borderlands relating back to what Anthony Burch worked on (Borderlands 2, Pre-Sequel and Tales from the Borderlands)
Anthony is the main reason behind the juicy lore of Borderlands, too bad Sam Winkler ruined it.
Tina story wasnt that bad. It was a completely new shit. The administration of the game (like... making those crap ass "DLCS" that cant be called dlc) was bad af. The gameplay, the idea, classes were great. Story was kinda ok.
@@lucasl4433 Yeah I understand, but the dialogue is just so awful in both main story and side quests The cringey modern humor in that game doesn’t stick.
This is the main reason why I played Borderlands 3 and Wonderlands with the audio slider at 0%. The gameplay is amazing, but I just can’t stand listening to the dialogue of the characters. Both of those games are the main reason why I don’t care about the lore or stories anymore.

100% agree. We have all these cool customization options but we only get to see it in the inventory rather than in the action.

My hopes are low for bl4 but i can wait for it if it means itll be a better game. At the end of the day ill take 1 more borderlands game no matter how bad it is.

Well hopefully this means that they’ll fix themselves, or die as a company who made 3 or maybe just 2 good BL games, these last ones have been an absolute shame and disaster that imo don’t deserve the borderlands IP. Actually horrible.

Hope BL 4 doesnt have mayhem mode and less guns. And while you are at it get rid of annointment system.
