Tyler... one thing that I truly appreciate about your videos is that you're doing this in spite of your English skills. To me, it doesn't get in the way. Your talent and passion are obvious and your musical ideas are very wonderfully original. Now that you have passed the thousand mark in subscribers, you'll begin to grow even more and will more than likely do so at a faster rate. As a small channel consistency is important, once you have the subs not important anymore. High quality content, obviously. But title and thumbnail is more important for growing. A great video with a bad thumbnail will do terrible. A bad video with an amazing thumbnail might even go viral (because the youtube algorithm sucks). Getting subs isn't very hard if you consistently create good content with good thumbnails and titles. But getting audience engagement is hard... So the 4000 watch hours is a MUCH bigger challenge. I'm now at 2.5k subs, still a very, very long way to go until monetization. Might not ever make it in fact...
@@tyler.l5230 I will keep going because I love making content. But I stopped bothering about watch hours all that much. People love my content, it seems, but the algorithm "hates" it, so it's very unlikely I'll ever get the required watch hours. I'll just keep creating vids for the fun of it.
