Tim I am glad you did that podcast with Katie on ESPN otherwise I might not have found you and Adam.
Contrary to some others posters here I find your podcast the most insightful of all those I have come across.
Unfortunately, YT seems designed to reward trolls. He who shouts loudest or makes the most outragious comments wins.
What annoys me is mobs chanting sack X or Y because of a or several non stellar results. Daniel beat Yuki (and half the grid) in Q1 and finished 55 thousanths/one place behind Yuki in Q2. At turn 3 Albon's front end plate punctured his rear sending them both into the wall after the team put him on mediums when everyone behind was on softs. Yet commentators rated Yuki 10 and Daniel 3. Ditto for those calling for Lance's sacking. He got a 6th recently. Hamilton has not done that!

@AJames-jr8kw Thank you for the kind words I appreciate that, and I agree with your comments on the JapaneseGP. If you want, I had Daniel Ricciardo on this show last year during the MexicoGP weekend so if you take a look back through past episodes you'll find it. I've done a lot of sit downs with DR in the past and he is always an insightful interview. As for ESPN, Katie and the ESPN team are great and I love working with them when I get the opportunity. I've worked alongside Nate and Laurence in F1 for almost a decade now and I love their work. If there's anything else you'd like to hear on the show please let me know, it's a work in progress, but I am having a good time doing it!

@@timhauraney01 Daniel must have been pumped that W/E. 1/10 off max in quali. Probably thought he was getting a front row start until the Ferraris got a step at the last moment.
You seem to have some connections so here is a thought I've had for a while that you may or may not want to float around.
All the lead drivers on their 50 million dollar salaries complain about the 24 races. Commentators complain there are no seats for the young talent. How about F1 say each driver can only race 22 or 20 or whatever races. The Drivers title is the best of 22 (or 20 etc) but constructors title is the full 24 races with the reserve drivers making up the difference. They could have some rule so you don't get 1 GP full of F2 drivers. Such as the teams choosing which GP they want their reserve drivers to race with the best team from the previous year getting first pick, second team gets 2nd pick etc etc.
That way we would see F2 champions racing instead of sitting on pit wall. Alonso, Max etc will do less races but Drivers and Constructors titles will still be valid and Drugovich, Doohan and Lawson etc can give their teams a direct comparison with the current number 2.

@@AJames-jr8kw I'll bring this up on the show, because it will fit in nicely with what I want to do on Monday.

Here’s to hoping 2026 brings a championship fight between Lewis in a Ferrari and Alonso in a Honda-powered Aston. Rivalry revived in their forties.

Woohoo i love Alonso 💚 he is truly the best, still at this age, truly amazing and well deserved. We should replace bad drivers for the good ones

Problem is, Renault doesn’t want to supply an Engine, neither does anyone else on the Grid…that’s Why they were TOLD to reapply in 2028! Come back with your Own Actual Engine!
