  • A step by step guide on what it means to capture (photography/videography) a Jewish ceremony. What to expect, what it means and why. To help you better understand the significance of each moment and how best to translate that through the lens.
The Ketubah - It is a marriage contract that thoroughly explains the role of the husband and wife. It also outlines basic material needs and conjugal and moral responsibilities.
The Bedeken - Is the ceremony where the groom veils the bride in a Jewish wedding.
The Chuppah - The traditional Jewish wedding ceremony takes place under a canopy called a Chuppah. The chuppah represents the home the newly wed couple will build together.
Kippah - A kippah, or yarmulke, is a brimless cap, usually made of cloth, worn by male Jews to fulfill the customary requirement
Yichud - Immediately after the chuppah, the bride and groom adjourn to the "yichud (seclusion) room," where they spend a few minutes alone. There are legal as well as practical reasons for this practice
