honestly they only respect you if you have an MED 501 , Those are for inmate with sicological problems , ptsd and more if He goes to he hole more three times they will up his security custody like they did Me and send me to a maximum security prison Far , FAR Away but there everything is different because yes in those other places guard did respect you a little bit more as long as you let them know you will take off on them too .. sorry to say that is the only way , real talk most of the guard in camp phill are the worse in pa , Let any of them go to Mahoney or far-behond there they act like beaches all the time ... my favorite saying is when you talk to them , they all want o go home that . My ex is there. I actually feel bad for him even though he almost completely ruined my life but I don't wish that hell on anybody. I value my freedom and my soft, warm bed!
i wish my family wasnt not so far away so we could visit my husband he has less than sixty days left why move him over a thousand miles away from home that puts a hardship on our family does anyone know why they move inmates away from there home so far
To isolate. Which leads to mental health issues to create repeat offenders to always keep them coming back along with their children. The mental sickness comes home to the children

I was there Sept 2010. Worst Co's I've ever seen. I violated pre release and ended up back there Aug 2012 in the hole. Worst experience in my life. Did a year and half in sci forest and finally released Jan 2014. Haven't looked back since.
I was there in 2008 It is the worst greaterford was way more payed back.

@@ltonex3129 I just looked up Lackawanna County. It's 92% white and 2% black. Meaning that most inmates who were abused there had to be white and most of the guards in that particular jail of course have to be white.
But Camp Hill is right near Harrisburg and Harrisburg is 48% black and 20% white. I find it very hard to believe in the area that Camp hill is in that most of the CO's were white. It has to be split with white CO and black CO's that were employed there. And I'm more than sure both black CO's and white CO's cover for each other when one of them abuses an inmates.

Commit a felony and you will be guaranteed a stay at Camp Hill. It is a state prison hub evrey inmate goes to before going to their permanent prison.
Nah, they showed a freshly painted cell for the cameras...lol. Those old style cells are all beat up and not to mention the mice and spiders.

Hello there. It is the second time that my son is been transferred at Camp Hill. The first time back by end of 2017, “ Processing to go to the home jail”, was very harsh and suffering. The second time, by end of 8-20, it is very suffering, because of Covid-19 situation.
The problem in SCI prisons and every where in USA, around this very difficult time it is that “ There are so many INNOCENT People, Like My Son, That Must Come Home “ Unfortunately the Court & Commonwealth keep dragging the appeals and making my son’s and so many other people LIVES HELL. We, The People Really Do Not Understand Why?! Can Someone Tell Us, Please?!

Unfortunately, they make it so that it’s easy for inmates to get “lost” in the system. Nobody provides clear answers, everything costs money for the family, and it’s just a constant “he said, she said” mentality by staff. I hope your son gets out soon. 😕

Disgusting that the inmates are assaulted. My friend was there during the riots and said snitches, molesters, and guards went first. He was Native American in on DUi homicide but said it was horrible.
