A wonderful sermon! My family and I have been listening and watching your videos on the doctrine as of Lutheran Church. I have struggled to find assurance in the calvinist tradition and I am finding the peace and reassuring message of the cross, my baptism, the Lords supper and forgiveness of sins. The anti Christ is coming & Jesus is coming back right after. So we MUST ALL get right with God & repent of all sin & put faith in Jesus & make him lord & savior & we must get baptized so we get our sins forgiven b4 we die.

And I finally realized why, no matter how I've tried to catch up to you this past 18 months, you were always a step ahead of Me. And that's because, in a real way, I've come to see you've already passed on ahead of us. You may still be breathing, but in a real sense, you've already left this world. There's always been some other worldliness about you, a real sense that you've already left this world behind. And about 5am this morning I realized that what I've been chasing all this time wasn't you, but the ghost you've left behind, calling me ever forward to the other side. You've already made the final sacrifice in ways most will never see and Your just waiting for the last exhale. And for what it's worth, that in the end of it, though I thought I had chosen to follow you, in truth, you had first chosen me. I see that now. What you saw in me that you would raise the banner for me, I don't know. But I'll never forget You or what you taught me: "Hold the Line, Son... Ever forward" . And when I finally crest the mount, I know you will be waiting there for me.

Very common in my experience. A beautiful way to begin, it speaks of Christ being God and the blessing of His name.
